Utmost outputs of Dialogue Forum for Women in NE,Syria

The final statement of the Dialogue Forum for Women in North and East Syria stressed the intensification of efforts and public demand for all means to uncover the status of leader Abdullah Ocalan and achieve his physical freedom.

The activities of the dialogue forum organized by Kongra Star were launched this Sunday morning under the slogan “The philosophy of Leader Abdullah Ocalan is a basic foundation for resolving crises” within the framework of the “Time for Physical Freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan” campaign, in the presence of 100 members of women’s movements and organizations and administrative institutions in northern and eastern Syria and a member of the Asr Office. The human rights activist, Razia Ozturk, and the spokeswoman for the Noon Initiative for the Freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, Sawsan Shoman, via a video clip, in the Zana Hall in the city of Qamishlo.

The forum, which included four main topics, concluded with a final statement read by members of the Kongra Star Coordination, Shiraz Hamo, in Arabic, and Hanaa Khaled, in Kurdish.

The final statement made it clear that the forum included the concept of leadership in the Middle East and its reality from the perspective of leader Abdullah Ocalan, given the urgent need for the reality of the region, through analysis of its historical narrative, lived experiences, and the deviation of the correct historical path of leadership from its content and reasons for its emergence.

The statement stressed that “moving away from the true essence of leadership led to catastrophic disasters that afflicted the peoples of the region, as a result of which they lived through conflicts, wars, and crises. Therefore, it is necessary to return and search for the correct concept of leadership that elevates societies, their aspirations, and their development, taking the will of the people as a basis for this, and the philosophy of leader Abdullah Ocalan confirms on that."

He added: "The forum also discussed the international conspiracy, the current situation of the leader and its repercussions on the solution path in the region, and the importance of the thesis of the democratic nation project as a model for a solution and way out of the current crises. The confederation of women represents its main axis as a path to success, and the discussions, opinions and proposals focused on the necessity of rallying around the democratic nation project and adhering to the leader's philosophy." Abdullah Ocalan in the context of women’s freedom and their arming with awareness, knowledge and organization. The attendees also stressed that this dialogue forum will be a continuation of the struggle for the leader’s physical freedom.”

According to the statement, the most prominent results of the discussions and opinions during the forum were the following proposals and recommendations:

1- The continuing struggle for the freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan at all political, diplomatic and legal levels.

2- The necessity of dialogue and communication with various feminist movements in the Middle East region and strengthening the feminist front through the Democratic Confederation of Women.

3- Intensifying women’s struggle for freedom because women’s freedom is the freedom of the leader.

4- Intensifying efforts and public demands by all means to reveal the status of leader Abdullah Ocalan and release him.

5- Carrying out activities and marches by feminist movements and organizations in countries that participated in the international conspiracy against the leader and sending messages to decision-makers in those countries to seek the leader’s release.

6- Working to include societal groups in all countries in the marches demanding the freedom of the leader.
