​​​​​​​Bodies of martyrs Seyîd Evran, Aslan Qamishlo laid to rest in Qamishlo

With the participation of thousands of people from NE Syria and civil, social, media and military institutions, the procession of the two martyrs began. Journalist and writer Seyîd Evran, who was martyred on September 22, and the leader of the People’s Protection Units, Aslan Qamishlo, who was martyred in a Turkish drone attack on September 17, from the Qamishlo morgue in the Antariya neighborhood towards the shrine of the martyr Dalil Sarukhan.

The coffin of the martyr, journalist Seyîd Evran was decorated with wreaths of roses and the flag of the Free Media Union, while the coffin of the leader Aslan Qamishlo was decorated with the flag of the People’s Protection Units and wreaths of roses, their companions carried their coffins on their shoulders and headed to the shrine of the martyr Dalil Sarukhan.

Thousands of people and notables of tribes and clans in NE Syria are waiting in the square of the shrine of the martyr Dalil Sarukhan.

Participants in the funeral ceremony hung pictures of the martyrs Seyîd Evran and Aslan Qamishlo on their chests, indicating their close connection to the greatness and sacrifices of the martyrs.

A solemn ceremony is scheduled to be held once the bodies of the martyrs Seyîd Evran and Aslan arrive in the shrine, which will include several speeches.
