Jurist, sheikh talk about the occupation’s attacks and call for unity against it

The border strip with the Turkish occupation state and the frontlines with the occupied areas in NE, Syria are witnessing the targeting of populated villages and air attacks with drones.

Lawyer Hussein Al-Mulla, a member of the Lawyers Union in the city of Raqqa, says: “Turkey uses the excuse of protecting its national security, but it is an occupying country and wants to expand its occupation.”

The occupying state is afraid of the leader’s project

Stressing that it (Turkey) is primarily afraid of the democratic project proposed by Leader Abdullah Ocalan, in co-existence between components, and eliminating capitalist systems that enslave peoples.

Al-Mulla pointed out that what happened in Deir ez-Zor in terms of the attempt to cause strife and Turkey’s push for its mercenaries under the pretext of “supporting their Arab brothers” is in its interests and undermines stability and security in the region.

Annihilation of Syrian lands

He continued his talk about the ongoing occupation attacks: “Today, Turkey is intensifying its attacks on the regions of NE, Syria, and is obstructing any political solution in Syria, which relies on a specific strategy to achieve its goals, which is to restore the ambitions of its Ottoman ancestors and annex parts of Syrian lands and annex them to its lands.”

At the conclusion of his speech, Al-Mulla stressed "the commitment of the Autonomous Administration and the Syrian Democratic Forces to the 2019 agreement between Russia and the United States, on a ceasefire in NE, Syria, and said: But we see Turkey ignoring this agreement without any international deterrent."

In his turn, one of the notables of the Al-Walda clan in the city of Raqqa, Youssef Al-Asaad, said: “The Turkish occupation state is still continuing its attacks on the regions of NE, Syria illegally, using artillery and drones, and targeting citizens, leaders, and populated places.”

The international community is silent in the face of attacks

Al-Asaad added, "These immoral attacks against the peoples of NE, Syria, which resulted in many martyrs, not to mention the wounded, did not move the static position of the international community and human rights organizations to hold the Turkish occupation state accountable for its illegal practices."

A call to join hands and expel the occupier

Al-Asaad called on all the free and honorable people in Syria to unite and join hands to expel the Turkish occupier and those loyal to him, and to implement the project of brotherhood of peoples and coexistence among all components.
