Popular Initiative calls on people of Hasaka to participate in sit-in tent

Popular Initiative in Al-Jazera region called on all components of Hasaka Canton to join the sit-in tent, which will be held on September 26 and 27, in the city of Hasaka.

On September 9, the popular initiative in Al-Jazera region, and under the slogan "Freedom of the Leader Abo Guarantees Peace in the Middle East," announced a series of activities and events denouncing the isolation imposed on the leader Ocalan and demanding his physical freedom. According to it, a central sit-in tent will be held in the city of Hasakah on September 26 and 27.

A central tent will be set up for the city of Hasaka and its towns in the Syriac Martyrs’ Square in Al-Nasra neighborhood, and all components of Hasaka and its civil, service and social institutions are scheduled to join the tent.

The tent program begins on Tuesday, September 26, from 09:00 until 17:00, with families, clans, and civil, service, and social institutions in the city of Hasaka visiting the tent.

On the second day, the tent receives those arriving to the tent, and the tent’s activities are scheduled to conclude with a mass demonstration.
