Discussions to restructure institutions in Deir ez-Zor

The Autonomous Administration revealed a plan to restructure the institutions of the Internal Security Forces and military institutions, begin ratifying the social contract in Deir ez-Zor, and prepare for the formation of a general legislative council consisting of 45 members including tribes and human rights activists.

The Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria held an expanded meeting, in coordination with the Democratic Civil Administration of Deir ez-Zor to discuss ways of enhancement the role of local institutions.

The meeting was attended by representatives of civil institutions and tribal sheikhs.

The meeting explained that holding accountable those who sabotage institutions is an urgent necessity, and he highlighted the relief projects presented in Deir ez-Zor, organizing and directing available resources, and imposing oversight on all institutions, especially with regard to services.

The meeting touched on the importance of cooperation between all participating parties to achieve stability and sustainable development.

The meeting came up with a plan to hold a series of meetings, prepare reports on the situation in Deir ez-Zor, and organize a general conference to discuss those reports and the outcomes of the meetings, in addition to developing the administration and taking responsibilities seriously by its representatives.
