Politicians: Silence of international powers encourages Turkey to commit more massacres

The Turkish occupation state continues to launch its attacks on the regions of northern and eastern Syria, but the solidarity of its people has thwarted the efforts of the occupying state in the region.

Chairman of the Council of the Future Syria Party in Tabqa, Ahmed Al-Khalaf, explained: “The regions of NE, Syria witnessed accelerating events, including malicious media campaigns and attacks on the regions of Deir ez-Zor with politicized agreements from the Damascus government, and the Turkish occupation state’s intensification of attacks on the regions of NE, Syria, targeting the populated areas.

He stressed that the recent attacks against the regions of NE, Syria and the attack on Manbij in front of the world are clear evidence of conspiracy against their project, the project of the democratic nation.

Al-Khalaf added: "The Syrian Democratic Forces thwarted all plans targeting the security and stability of the region, and deterring the recent attacks was a strong blow to them. It is evidence that our forces are an impenetrable barrier to the plans of those armed gangs and mercenaries."

Al-Khalaf pointed out that despite all these attacks: “We did not hesitate to repel them with our will, our awareness, and the awareness of the people and sheikhs present in the areas liberated from all capitalist systems, and built on the foundations and principles of the democratic nation.”

Meanwhile, the head of the organizing office of the Future Syria Party Council in Tabqa, Yasser Al-Kurdi, stated that: “The Turkish occupation state continues its attacks on the regions of north-eastern Syria, and has committed massacres against the people of the region amid silence from the human rights and humanitarian organizations, which play the role of spectators and have not done anything.” Despite all the ferocious attacks the region is being exposed to.”

He explained: "The intensification of attacks resulted from the Astana meeting between the Damascus government, Russia, and the Turkish occupation state."

Yasser Al-Kurdi criticized the international powers for their silence, support and encouragement of the Turkish occupation state to continue launching its attacks on the regions of north-eastern Syria, disregarding international agreements and failing to maintain good neighbourliness.

Yasser Al-Kurdi called on human rights organizations to break their “shameful silence against humanity,” deter the Turkish occupation state, and stop its massacres against the people of NE, Syria. He noted that the silence of international powers encourages Turkey to commit more massacres.
