Since last week, the "De-escalation" zone has witnessed a sharp escalation in shelling, targeting and killings, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The SOHR documented the killing of 107 people since last August 26, and 46 others were injured, following an attack carried out by the mercenaries of "Ansar al-Tawhid" affiliated with the mercenaries of "Tahrir al-Sham" on the village of Malaja.

Yesterday, the Damascus government forces launched a violent attack in an attempt to advance on Malaja Hill in Jabal al-Zawiya, south of Idlib, amid artillery and missile shelling and violent clashes, which resulted in the death of 3 Damascus forces, wounding others, and the destruction of a "BMB" vehicle.
