The Media Center of the Kurdish Front forces published a statement posted on the official website of the Syrian Democratic Forces, in which it revealed the outcome of its forces' response to the attacks of the Turkish occupation mercenaries on areas in the northern countryside of Manbij.

The statement read:

On Wednesday, the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation launched an attack on the village of al-Bugaz, in the northern countryside of Manbij.

The statement added that the attack, which targeted the village, was carried out by large numbers of mercenaries, "while the Kurdish Front forces confronted them; strong clashes broke out, in which more than 15 mercenaries were killed, in addition to the wounding of about 30 others, and two military vehicles used by the mercenaries were destroyed." In the attack, while the rest of the mercenaries fled, our forces also seized a large amount of weapons and ammunition that the mercenaries left behind."

The Kurdish Front forces stated in their statement that among the mercenary dead were ISIS mercenaries, whose identity was confirmed by the insignia of the terrorist organization that they wore on their clothes.

And the statement continued, "Since the beginning of the events in Deir ez-Zor, the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries have launched continuous attacks on various regions of north and east Syria, from Manbij and Ain Issa, to Tal Tamr and Zarghan, and our forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces confronted them, and thwarted all those attacks."
