The Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries launched, at dawn today, a ground attack on villages in the western countryside of the city of Manbij with heavy weapons, as well as on some villages in the eastern countryside of Al-Bab, and as a result of the bombing of the village of Tahna in the western countryside, 3 children were injured.

According to the records of Barkal hospitals, they are Weam al-Jassem (15 years old), Ibrahim al-Jassem (12 years old), and Jalal al-Jassem (14 years old). They were transferred to Barkal Hospital in the city of Manbij to receive treatment.

The administrator and assistant surgeon at Barkal Hospital, Ahmed Al-Ali, explained: “3 injured children were taken to the hospital this morning. They were injured as a result of shelling on Manbij and its countryside, and they were urgently admitted to the operating room. The stomachs of 2 children were opened due to the presence of shrapnel, and we removed the spleens of the 2 children because their injuries were in the same place and their condition was similar.

And he noted: "The first child, Weam al-Jassem, has an injury to the kidney and stomach, and the spleen has been removed. The other child, Jalal al-Jassem, has injuries, but his kidney is more damaged. There is a possibility that we will remove it during the next 24 hours, but now we are waiting in the hope that it will return to work and if it stop, we will have to remove all of it, of course, after the approval of the injured person’s family".

Al-Ali said: "The 3 children are in intensive care, and we are making efforts to save their lives".

Since September 1, the Turkish occupation countries have launched violent attacks on the villages of the western and northern countryside of Manbij, and civilian homes are being directly targeted. 5 civilians, including 4 children from one family, have been martyred so far, and civilians have been injured in the villages of Arab Hasan and Awn al-Dadat.
