'Those who caused the failure of Mahabad Republic try to thwart freedom revolution led by Guerrilla'

After its continuous endeavor to occupy the mountains of Kurdistan and its repeated failure to do so, today the Turkish occupation state is trying to achieve its goals through treason, and has found what it seeks in the militants of the Kurdistan Democratic Party who are silent about the occupation state army’s bombing of the homes of citizens in Başur (Southern Kurdistan), and those who support the Turkish war against the Guerrilla forces.

In reference to the betrayal of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, the co-chair of the Council of Martyrs’ Families in the Euphrates Region, Adel Hajji, said: “In the recent period, after the ruling regime in Turkey won the presidential elections again, this regime revealed its true intention, and extended the isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan. The attacks on the legitimate defense areas intensified in an attempt to break the will of the people of the region, who link their fate and survival to the resistance shown by the Guerrilla forces in the mountains of Kurdistan.

He added: "The war on the legitimate defense areas in the last two years has reached its climax, and the resistance shown by the Guerrilla fighters has proven to the whole world that those who have rights will always prevail, but what breaks the back is the line of betrayal practiced by the forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, who have become Turkey's weapon against the Kurds, and the implementation of "its plans."

He continued: "The Turkish occupation state always exploits traitors to its advantage. Those who caused the failure of the Republic of Mahabad today have become Turkey's weapon in standing in the way of any renaissance for the people of the region. They are trying to thwart the freedom revolution led by Guerrilla fighters in the mountains of Kurdistan, in which they see their demise, by presenting aid to the occupying state.

Adel Hajji condemned the silence of international powers regarding the Turkish occupation state’s use of banned chemical weapons against the Guerrilla forces in the Mideya regions, and said: “Today the most modern weapons are being used against the Guerrilla forces in the mountains of Kurdistan chemical weapons are now being used in front of the organizations that prohibit their use, so from all sides.” From the above, we conclude that there is a global conspiracy against the people of the region, and may their conspiracy against them succeed in their war led by the occupying state against the Guerrilla.”

According to statistics previously conducted by ANHA's agency, the Turkish occupation state launched more than 3,730 chemical attacks on legitimate range defense areas, 4,233 attacks by warplanes, and 5,628 attacks by helicopters during the past year, while the Turkish occupation state army bombed resistance squares in legitimate defense areas 519 times. He deployed artillery, tanks and heavy weapons on the 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th of last July.

The co-chair of the Council of Martyrs' Families in the Euphrates Region, Adel Hajji, called on the people of the region to unite, arm themselves, resist and support the Guerrilla forces, specifically the people of Başûr Kurdistan, who must rise up and stand up against those who claim to be Kurds, but in reality are the weapons of the occupying state against the Kurdish people.
