Armenian Social Council: SDF is key to peace for Syria

The Armenian Social Council issued a statement to the public, denouncing the sedition efforts by external parties among the components of the region.

The statement was read in front of the Armenian Social Council center in Kababa neighborhood in the city of Hasaka, in the presence of dozens of council members by the co-chair of the council, Imad Tatrian.

The text of the statement read:

"The sedition that wanted an agenda hostile to the Democratic Autonomous Administration by fabricating and igniting it through some of its mercenaries who sold themselves and betrayed their homeland and worked through media propaganda and its agents that the SDF is Kurdish and it is fighting the Arabs and Arab clans, so the SDF must be fought and expelled from the Arab regions and they used everything to achieve the dreams of their masters to turn NE Syria into a hell where brother kills his brother, and life is destroyed, so that the evil plans of Astana and external plans to return ISIS.

The statement noted that, " Armenian Social Council in NE Syria has some important points that we will list as follows:

First: The Syrian Democratic Forces

(SDF) which defended all components and all religions and had the greatest role in liberating the region from the oppression, tyranny and terrorism of ISIS. It is made up of Arabs, Kurds, Armenians, Syriacs, Assyrians, Turkmen and Circassians Christians, Muslims and Yazidis, and we can confirm that half of the fighters in SDF are from our Arab brothers from all the Arab clans, this confirms the lies of the enemies that the SDF is Kurdish.

Second: "The economic situation of NE Syria is better than all neighboring countries and better than all Syrian governorates, as it was able to eliminate unemployment by 80 percent. The lowest salary for an employee in NE Syria exceeds one million Syrian pounds, except that all service and basic matters which commensurate with the monthly income from service materials and to all other materials.

The statement clarified that all of this was not liked by the enemies, so they wanted our region and its people to be a "distorted" image, similar to their sectarian, nationalist, and dark ISIS image, and what they suffer from material, spiritual and human poverty, as they destroyed their homelands and spread hatred among its people.

The statement continued, “The sedition succeeded in dispersing the brothers and tearing apart the one society, but our peoples and religions united and sent their sons to fight together” in the SDF, which was founded from the essence, values and spirit of the great democratic nation and presented the martyrs, and thanks to their pure blood, we today enjoy stability, peace, love and justice.

Third, we demand from all our Arab and Kurdish brothers and with all other components to stand together against all enemies and their mercenaries, defeat them and uproot them, just as we did in Al-Baghouz when we expelled their mercenaries.

The statement added, “We, the Armenians, Arabs, Kurds, Syriacs, Assyrians, Turkmen, Circassians, and all our religions and beliefs, will not accept that any of our components be harmed, we emphasize the unity of ranks to preserve NE Syria, We all stand and support the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Democratic Autonomous Administration project, and together we say no to sedition.

 The statement affirmed, "The key to peace in Syria is in the hands of the Syrian Democratic Forces. Long live the brotherhood of the peoples. Long live the democratic nation. Victory for the Syrian Democratic Forces."
