Tal Tamr Military Council: 12 Turkish occupation killed in two attacks on Tal Tamr- Zarghan

This came in a written statement issued by the Tal Tamr Military Council, on Sunday, which read:

“The “Security Enhancement” operation continues on its eighth day, in which our forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces, responded to the call of the people of the region to begin it. In parallel with the important operation, the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation state did not accept it, and tried to make the operation appear as if it were a battle between the Kurds and Arabs, and with this pretext. They tried to change the objectives of the operation and use it to serve their plans.

Based on that; The Turkish occupation state launches its attacks daily on all our regions. Just as it continues to target the countryside of the city of Manbij, at the same time and in the morning hours of September 3, the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation state launched an attack on the villages of “Al-Tawila, Tal Al-Tawil, and Khamsah” of the town of “Tal Tamr,” but our fighters responded appropriately to the mercenaries’ attacks and thwarted them in full.

The response operations to the mercenary attacks resulted in the killing of more than 10 mercenary members of the Turkish occupation state.

In conjunction with those attacks; The mercenaries of the Turkish occupation state attempted to launch an attack on the village of “Bobi” in the town of “Zarghan.” Our fighters also thwarted that attack, which resulted in the killing of two mercenaries and the fall of many wounded. After the clashes ended, the occupation mercenaries retreated and fled, and the attack was foiled.

We are in the Tal Tamr Military Council, and just as we were responding to mercenaries and protecting our land, from now on, and together with our people, we will continue to protect our cities and towns and the entire regions of NE,Syria.”
