Proposals of politicians to protesters and demonstrators in different regions of Syria

For 12 years, the Syrian people are still suffering from the ongoing authoritarian mentality of the Damascus government and the Turkish occupation mercenaries alike, and the recent protests in the areas of both sides demonstrate the people’s continued rejection of this mentality that rules the Syrians with iron and fire and fights the salvation project to which they aspire.

Politician and member of the Future Syria Party, Abdul Qader Al-Hussein, pointed out: “The deteriorating economic conditions, the low standard of living in the areas under the control of the Damascus government, its inability to present a political project that meets the demands of the people, and the many internal problems of famines, high prices, and lack of security, all of this sparked the movement in the areas.” The government of Damascus, in Suwayda Governorate and its countryside, are demanding the overthrow of the regime and its repressive policies and the improvement of the standard of living.”

He added, "Al-Assad showed the whole world and the Arab League that he is not the decision-maker and cannot take any decision leading to a political solution, which led to an exacerbation of the crisis within his areas of control, and also, after 12 years, it became clear that the so-called opposition are mercenaries with Turkey, and they do not have a political project."

He said, "The overthrow of the regime is not possible without the existence of an alternative and appropriate political project that is compatible with the UN resolutions on Syria related to the social and political situation, especially those related to the military and security situation."

Politician Abd al-Qadir al-Hussein ruled out the possibility of the Syrian people achieving their aspirations without the Autonomous Administration, and he sees in it the most appropriate model for the people of As-Suwayda, repeating that as the experience of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria demonstrated the ability of the people to manage themselves by themselves, and because it carries a clear strategic vision for the long-term perspective, and recognizes human rights All Syrians.

For her part, the politician and co-chair of the office of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) in Manbij, Reem Darwish, said that the protests and demonstrations taking place in the Syrian regions under the control of the Damascus government, and those occupied by Turkey, are political and far from what is being promoted as economic and living reasons.

She said about the reasons in the areas of the Damascus government: “The Damascus government has not changed its approach or its policies, and it does not have any clear political project that offers a solution to the Syrian crisis, and it still practices all kinds of injustice, tyranny, and suppression of freedoms in order to remain in power. They exist only to serve themselves.” and serve the power and capital they cling to.

On its causes in the Syrian occupied areas by Turkey, Reem Darwish said: "The so-called opposition is persecuting those in northern Syria and robbing them of their freedoms and seeking demographic change and preventing freedoms. The opposition today lacks a future vision for Syria and does not seek to plan a Syrian project that serves the country in light of absence." “It has political and authoritarian goals only to serve external people and agendas.”

She pointed out: "The solution to the Syrian crisis does not lie in overthrowing the head of the ruling regime and getting rid of some of its security institutions, but rather in changing the existing authoritarian mentality, and in order to overthrow that mentality, the Syrian people need to plan a clear political future project that serves their aspirations."

Reem Darwish noted that the points of convergence of the people in Syria pass through resolving the Syrian crisis according to a political and democratic solution, and she said: "Following the Autonomous Administration model and applying it in the areas controlled by the Damascus government through the insistence of the people, as well as in the areas occupied by Turkey and rejecting the authority and its mentality, the Syrians will be able to advancing Syria and getting rid of the authority of the Damascus government and the Turkish occupation.
