Civil Administration of Manbij: Turkish occupation assaults aim to destabilize security

Today, the Democratic Civil Administration of Manbij and its countryside, with the participation of tribal sheikhs, notables and representatives of political parties made a statement to public opinion regarding the Turkish attacks on Manbij.

The statement was read by the coordinator of the councils in Manbij and its countryside, Abdul Basit Al-Shuwaikh, in front of the administration building in the city center.

The statement said: “For two days, we have been witnessing attacks on the citizens and residents of our safe areas, aiming to kill, displace, destabilize security and stability, and kill innocent children, the elderly, and women.

These attacks coincided with the world’s celebrations on the occasion of the International Day of Peace.

The statement added: "We stand united in the face of every attack carried out by armed gangs and the fascist Turkish regime.

We appeal to all forces supporting peace to provide support and assistance to stand in the face of these criminal acts.

In conclusion, the statement pledged: “We pledge to our martyrs to follow in their footsteps until achieving victory and liberating our occupied regions.

Since yesterday, the countryside of the city of Manbij has been subjected to a ground attack and artillery shelling, which is still continuing at the time of preparing the news, where yesterday's bombing led to the martyrdom of 4 children and the injury of two citizens.
