Since the 27th of this August, the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Deir ez-Zor Military Council have launched a “Security Enhancement” operation in various areas of the eastern bank of the Euphrates River, specifically the areas of Deir ez-Zor, to target ISIS cells, drug dealers and traffickers, sabotaged armed groups, and those who exploit military positions to intimidate the region. The commander of the Deir ez-Zor Military Council, Khalil Al-Wahsh, said, explaining, "The operation that was launched by the Syrian Democratic Forces, and we are in the Deir ez-Zor Military Council among them, and the operation came to combat ISIS cells and cells associated with the Syrian regime, and what is being promoted on social media is news It is false and its purpose is to create strife and harm the components of the Syrian people. The regime wants to create strife.”

Al-Wahsh called on the people of Deir ez-Zor not to be drawn behind the media, which he described as "misleading", and not to be drawn into those efforts aimed at creating discord, and to stand by their sons in the Syrian Democratic Forces to establish more security and stability.

For his part, the leader of the Deir ez-Zor Military Council, Nuri Khalil, pointed out that the Syrian Democratic Forces were able to comb large parts of the regions of Deir ez-Zor, including the western and eastern countryside, and were able to strike many dens of ISIS mercenary cells, and cells responsible for destabilizing security and stability by spreading discord between the military forces and the people of the region.

He called on all the people of the region to continue standing with the Syrian Democratic Forces in the face of the sedition efforts that are intended to be fomented in the region, and to eliminate ISIS cells and those trying to tamper with the security and stability of NE, Syria.

In his turn, the commander of the Deir ez-Zor Military Council, Ahmed Al-Omar, mentioned the cells that are currently moving in the Deir ez-Zor region against their military forces, and said: "The campaign to suppress the cells affiliated with Turkey, the regime, Iran, and ISIS, and those who are moved by those external hands, and what we are doing in terms of campaign It is to clean the area of these cells, so the people must cooperate.”

For his part, the leader of the Deir-ez-Zor Military Council, Ibrahim Al-Assi, called on the people to move away from what he is promoting that these armed groups are affiliated with the forces of the Deir-ez-Zor Military Council, stressing that it is an attempt to sow discord, denying any connection of these groups to the forces of the Deir-ez-Zor Military Council.

The Syrian Democratic Forces continue its operation with the participation of all its factions, on its fifth day, which was launched in coordination with the notables and tribal sheikhs in NE, Syria, and based on their continuous appeals and demands, to eliminate ISIS cells, drug dealers and dealers, and saboteurs.
