Çiya Kurd: hostile parties working to hit the stabilization of the region

This came in a tweet published by the co-chair of the Department of External Relations in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Bedran Çiya Kurd, on the X platform, to comment on the events taking place in Deir ez-Zor, in light of the continuation of the "Security Enhancement" operation launched by the Syrian Democratic Forces.

Bedran Çiya Kurd affirmed: Tampering with civil peace and coexistence is tampering with the blood that was bloodshed and direct support for the "terrorist ISIS organization."

The text of the tweet is as follows:

"Regarding what is happening in Deir ez-Zor and its regions, we all know what this region has gone through in terms of scourge and great suffering from ISIS terrorism and the factions and organizations that preceded it. And the components of the region and surrendered the will of its people to them, and Deir- ez-Zor lived for the first time a pioneering experience in managing itself, and the Autonomous Administration provided everything possible to enhance the role of its people.

Today, there is a process to ensure stability for all the people of the region, and the Autonomous Administration is very keen on coexistence and stability in the region, and this has been achieved with the efforts and blood of the people of the region with all its components and clans in fighting terrorism, so tampering with civil peace and coexistence is tampering with the blood that was bloodshed and direct support for the terrorist ISIS organization that committed the bloody massacres against the people of the region, as well as support for drug trafficking, corruption and drugs, and a direct assault on the gains made thanks to this bloodshed against terrorism. The common interest requires preserving the gains and for the region to run itself with its own free will in which its people share.

We have definitive information about the infiltration of hostile groups into the region

Without a doubt, for years there have been persistent attempts to undermine the stability of our regions and prevent the development of the will of our people. What is happening today comes in the context of the plan run by regional powers against our people and our people in Deir ez-Zor, where there are hostile entities and parties working to undermine stability and revive ISIS in order to prevent the crystallization of the will of the peoples of the region. This goal coincides with all the goals that these parties have attempted throughout our regions.

Unfortunately, these people are working day and night to spread a discourse of hostility and strife among the people of the region, while they are sitting in the arms of those who destroyed this country, displaced its people, and plundered its resources. In this context and as part of the follow-up, we have conclusive information about the infiltration of hostile groups into the region, inciting the people against the SDF, which liberated them from ISIS terrorism, not out of a desire to serve the people, but rather in order to pass their plans in the region that do not serve anyone, especially the Arab tribes.

SDF performs its moral, security and societal duty to ensure the dignity of our people in Deir-ez-Zor.

In light of the developments that have taken place, the SDF’s decision to hold accountable and change the leaders of the Deir ez-Zor region is related to the internal system and its work mechanisms and is not an issue related to any component or clan. On the other hand, it comes in the context of the SDF’s obligations to serve the region and not tolerate any party that wants to compromise the security of our people in Deir-ez-Zor, robbing their will and spreading discord in their society. SDF is performing its moral, security and societal duty to ensure the dignity of our people in Deir-ez-Zor.

In this context, we count on the awareness of our people, our people, and our clans among the Arab brothers, and on all the people of the region, with their elders and their honorable people, to be careful and take care of their gains and protect the security of the region, noting that there are a group of lurkers who want to fuel the conflict in the region in order for it to benefit in the end, as we mentioned below. That is, taking into account the service of our people, but rather violating the security of our regions, spreading chaos and turning it into an area and a hotbed in which all parties, led by ISIS, tamper in order to return terrorism and prevent the development of the will of our people.
