Women Journalists: We will continue to fight on the path of free media

On August 23, the Turkish occupation state targeted a car belonging to the JIN TV satellite channel with a drone, which resulted in the martyrdom of the satellite channel's member, Najm al-Din Faisal, and the injury of the reporter, Dalila Akid.

They seek to hide the truth.

JIN TV correspondent Zilan Hassan began her speech by condemning the attacks targeting free media, offering condolences to the family of the martyr Najm al-Din Faisal, and wishing the correspondent Dalila Akeed a speedy recovery.

Zilan referred to the Turkish state's arrest of male and female journalists in Bakur Kurdistan (Northern Kurdistan) and its targeting of Rojava with UAVs , and said: "With these attacks, it seeks to silence the voice of the free media and hide the brutal practices it is committing against the components of NE, Syria from public opinion and obliterate this fact."

And she emphasized: "The attacks will not be able to thwart us, we will expose the Turkish state's attacks and practices with our pen and lens, and we will continue our work as the JIN TV team, and the attack will not affect our work, and just as our station represents the voice of women and transmits reality, it also represents our people."

"Women's media terrifies the occupiers"

JIN TV member, Nada Hussein, pointed out that the Turkish occupation state is targeting the voice of truth, and said: "The Turkish state will not be able to block our light, it is targeting journalists in NE, Syria to hide its brutality, but we will work to expose its practices."

Nada Hussein mentioned that the occupiers seek to obstruct media work, and she continued her speech by saying: "We will continue our work and follow in the footsteps of our martyrs no matter what the enemy does, and women's media will always continue. The enemies are afraid of women's media because it conveys the reality of society and thus this society advances with it." That is why he is being targeted."

"It targets women's truth and struggle"

At the beginning of her speech, a member of NÛJINHA Agency, Hasna Muhammad, recalled the martyrs and martyrs of the free media, and stated that the attack that targeted the JIN TV crew recently was not the first attack, as journalists working to convey the voice of truth were targeted dozens of times.

And she continued, "The dominant regimes attack in various ways and methods, and today Rojava is witnessing a struggle against the occupation, and this struggle extends and spreads with great force thanks to the women's media, and everyone sees this truth."

Hasna Muhammad emphasized continuing to follow in the footsteps of the martyrs, and concluded her speech by saying: "We will continue our struggle against the enemy's attacks, whether by its warplanes or through digital media, and we will work to convey the reality of our people."
