Peaceful protests and demonstrations continue in separate areas in Al-Suwayda for the fifth day in a row, protesting against the economic collapse in the country and the deterioration of living conditions, calling for the overthrow of the "Syrian regime", Bashar al-Assad's stepping down, and a decentralized Syria.

Today, the town of Al-Qarya in the southern countryside of Al-Suwayda witnessed a partial closure of several roads with the continuation of the protests. and young protestors also closed the main road in the village of Sala, and main roads in several other villages, and a partial closure of the Damascus-Al-Suwayda road, with the exception of allowing the passage of emergency cases. This coincided with the continued closure of government departments and institutions, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
