The Turkish-occupied Syrian regions have recently witnessed a significant increase in the number of crimes and violations committed by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries against the indigenous people in those regions, of which Afrin comes at the forefront, amid the efforts of their accomplices from the so-called "Kurdish National Council" and its supporter of the Kurdistan Democratic Party to legitimize the Turkish occupation of Afrin .

Citizens warned of these crimes and endeavors, especially the demographic change that the occupation is achieving there at an accelerating pace.

The citizen and member of the Syrian Kurdish Democratic Party, Muhammad Ali, described the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation as "barbarians and savages," and added about them: "They have nothing of human behavior."

He pointed out that Afrin "is an area where settlements grow like mushrooms. There are many settlements in Afrin supported by Islamic countries such as Qatar and Kuwait, and the United Nations has also supported settlements and mercenary refugees."

And he indicated that the crimes are complete and integrated in Afrin. From killing, kidnapping, stealing, looting, hidden arrest and kidnapping, he added, "No one can enumerate the crimes committed by mercenaries in Afrin."

He stressed that "Afrin has now become a home to crime, murder, kidnapping and violations."

Afrin is now not viable.

For his part, Walid Habash, a member of the Aleppo Cultural Forum, stated that "since the beginning of the occupation of Afrin by the Turkish state and with the help of its mercenaries, human rights have been violated, beginning with the displacement of its original people, and the cutting down of trees and the destruction of lands."

He expressed his regret towards the Kurdish traitors in Afrin and the supporters of the Turkish occupier, saying: "Unfortunately, there are Kurds who help the Turkish occupier and its mercenaries. They say that Afrin has been liberated and that it will turn into a zone of peace and security, but as we know Afrin has now become unviable, a region full of fear." And killing,” noting that the methods are multiple and the goal is to displace the Kurds.

In his turn, the administrator in the Relations Office of the Syrian Democratic Council - Aleppo Center, Zainab Qanbar, indicated that after 12 years have passed since the Syrian crisis, Syria is going from bad to worse, especially in the areas occupied by the Turkish state.

Zainab stressed that Turkey occupies the Syrian regions and intended to occupy the regions that organized themselves and had autonomous-administrations, "and aspirations for a society that lives by its will and the brotherhood of peoples, which is inconsistent with its policies."

Zainab noted that the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation aim at crime and theft, saying, "The mercenaries who call themselves the National and Free Army and every day have a name, they are nothing but mercenaries and use force with the aim of killing, destroying, intimidating, plundering and rape to completely empty cities and leave them, change their features, and expand the borders of the Misak-ı Millî, and settlement building, all of this is done systematically.”
