A member of the General Command of the Women's Protection Units YPJ, Rohlat Afrin, spoke in a special statement to ANHA's agency, on the occasion of the second anniversary of the martyrdom of the leaders of the Tal Tamr Military Council on the 19th of August 2021, about the role of both leaders Sawsan Berhat and Renas Roj within the 19th revolution in response to the attacks witnessed by this revolution.

A member of the Military Council of the Women's Protection Units (YPJ) and the Military Council of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Sawsan Berhat, and the leader Agid Girke Lege, and their companions Saif Allah Ahmed and Robar Hasakah, were martyred in an attack by a UAV of the Turkish occupation, targeting the military relations building of the Tal Tamr Military Council.

The martyrdom of the leaders of the Tal Tamr Military Council coincided with the martyrdom of their comrade, leader Renas Roj, by targeting his car on the Qamishlo road on the same day.

At the beginning, she recalled the member of the General Command of the Women's Protection Units YPJ, her comrades, the martyrs, the member of the Military Council of the Women's Protection Units (YPJ) and the Military Council of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Sawsan Berhat, and the member of the General Command of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Renas Roj and their companions, recounting excerpts from the course of their struggle within the revolution July 19, and in the liberation and defense of North and East Syria.

And she said about the martyr Sawsan, "With her joining the Rojava Revolution in 2013, the martyr Sawsan worked within the social system in both the cities of Aleppo and Kobani, within the framework of defining and organizing women, and in her field science she traveled to different regions of Syria, as the Rojava revolution is known as the women's revolution and its fight For the masculine mentality and confronting all the attacks that affected our regions from the various mercenary factions, ISIS mercenaries and the Turkish occupation, the martyr Sawsan was the pioneering leader who made her mark in the revolutionary people's war in Aleppo, and was able to organize its population, and the martyr Sawsan made herself a symbol in the leadership and organization of the Aleppo resistance.

And she continued, "At the same time, within the Rojava revolution, at its various social, intellectual and military levels, the martyr Sawsan played a pioneering role in its leadership and organization, especially in bringing the Women's Protection Units to an effective role, and took it upon itself to deliver them to it."

She added, "With the occupation of Afrin by the Turkish state and its mercenaries, every girl in Afrin, the martyr Sawsan, is born with a sense of revenge against the occupation forces, and everyone who occupies this land and attacks it, and she always engaged and prepared herself for that, so she played the role within the Women's Protection Forces by organizing and training them, And her joining the revolutionary people's war, and her personality represented all of this in the areas in which she worked and even within our units, and she was published through her wandering her mental in areas in which she worked in Aleppo in order to protect these gains and protect this land and its people, and to liberate occupied Afrin.

And she said about being targeted by UAV of the Turkish occupation state in Tal Tamr district of al-Hasakah canton, "Certainly the martyr Sawsan had a pioneering role within the leadership of the Women's Protection Units, and targeting such leaders as the martyr Sawsan and her companions is targeting the Women's Protection Units, their inheritance and strength, and targeting this revolution and its gains with the personality of these comrades, we learned that the targeting was not of their person, but of the revolution and its forces.”

On the biography of the struggle of the martyr Renas Roj, who was martyred when a Turkish UAV targeted his car in Qamishlo canton, on the same date, she said: "The leader Renas Roj, whose origin from Rojhilat Kurdistan from a patriotic family that has a great inheritance of martyrs in order to get rid of injustice and persecution, got involved in Rojava Revolution bravely, and played a real leadership role through his struggle to serve this revolution and its people, and to defend its gains.

She touched on the goals of its targeting, saying: "His targeting is evidence that the enemies of the Kurds, including the Turkish state, do not accept the involvement of the people of all parts of Kurdistan in the Rojava revolution, as it is a targeting of the values, resistance and gains of this revolution, so it was targeted, and they are trying to end the revolution and the forces defending it through its leaders."

A member of the General Command of the YPJ Women's Protection Units, Rohlat Afrin, confirmed the close and continuous connection of the military forces in North and East Syria, represented by the Women's Protection Units, the People's Protection Units, and the Syrian Democratic Forces, with the goals of their martyr fighters and leaders, in the defense of North and East Syria, by saying, "We make the martyr Sawsan Martyr Renas and their comrades set an example for us, and we will not allow anyone to harm the security of our land and our gains.

She noted the importance of the July 19 revolution, the gains achieved in it, and its impact on the people in North and East Syria and Kurdistan, as well as on the world, noting that the national spirit of the Kurds in Kurdistan united everyone under the revolution, and the essence of the revolution is based on lifting injustice and oppression and achieving equality and justice. Who attracted thousands of people from the region and from Kurdistan and the world to join the ranks of the forces defending it.

And she said: "We must not forget it, because all the people of Kurdistan in its four parts joined this revolution, as there was wide accession by the people of Western and foreign countries, and even the components joined this revolution, so whoever sees that this revolution represents him and the attacks target him, he joined this revolution to protect it, The martyr Sawsan was from Afrin, the martyr Renas was from Rojhilat, the martyr Agid was from Girke Lege, and the martyr Robar was from Hasakah, and their martyrdom in defense of the revolution indicates the national spirit and the importance of this revolution.

Emphasizing, "The Rojava revolution is not the revolution of a small part of this land, but rather a revolution to serve all peoples, so everyone who saw in himself the essence of this revolution got involved in it, and from our side we are still committed to moving forward, to achieve the desired gains and defend them."

The member of the General Command of the Women's Protection Units YPJ, Rohlat Afrin, stressed the accountability of the Turkish occupation state for what it has done and is still doing against the people in North and East Syria, and the accountability of its accomplices and traitors, stressing revenge for their martyr comrades.
