​​​​​​​Mahshush: We adhere to our demand to dismiss the National Defense' commander and hold him accountable

Tension still exists between the Jabour tribe and the National Defense mercenaries; As a result of the failure of negotiations between the tribe and officials of the Damascus government yesterday, and the failure to meet the tribe's demand to dismiss the commander of the National Defense mercenaries, Abd al-Qadir Hamo, and hold him accountable.

The advisor of the Jabour tribe, Akram Mahshush, said in a phone call to ANHA agency: "The differences between the officials of the Damascus government and the National Defense mercenaries are exacerbating, because the officials, including the governor of Hasaka, were unable to isolate the commander of the National Defense mercenaries, hold him accountable, and dissolve the National Defense".

Akram Mahshush explained: "As a result of the differences that occurred between the National Defense mercenaries and officials of the Damascus government, the military leaders of the Damascus government, accompanied by the governor of Hasakah, held a meeting in the presence of the Russian forces to remove the National Defense commander from the region".

Tension happened between the mercenaries of the National Defense and the Arab Jabour tribe on August 13, due to the insult of the leader of the mercenaries of the National Defense to a symbol of the Jabour tribe, Sheikh Abd al-Aziz al-Muslat.
