Gharib Hesso: AANES is Syrian project that preserves Syrians' dignity 

On Wednesday, in the city of Qamishlo, the second conference of the Lawyers' Union in North and East Syria kicked off, under the slogan "The legal profession is a message and its core is to establish the values of the natural society," with the participation of more than 72 delegates from North and East Syria.

During the first day of the conference, several speeches were delivered by the attendees, including the speech of the co-chair of the Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM), Gharib Hesso, in which he spoke about the policy of the Damascus government and the Syrian crisis that has been pending for 11 years without effective solutions or concrete steps.

The results of the Damascus government's policies and its rejection of solutions

Hesso indicated that Damascus "deludes itself to be strong in the region, and that it is able to continue with these policies in the long term," adding: "There were initiatives to develop radical solutions for the region, whether by the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria or regionally and internationally, but Damascus these solutions and initiatives are marginalized.”

Gharib Hesso shed light on the collapse of the Syrian economy, saying: "We are witnessing a very large economic collapse, and we do not know where the fate of Syria will go," wondering: "If there had been a dialogue and a Syrian-Syrian solution, would we have witnessed a collapse, whether on the economic level or in all Aspects of life?

Policies that the Syrian citizen will pay for

Gharib Hesso noted that "continuing with this mentality and policy will make Syria witness to a future of additional sanctions that only the Syrian citizen will pay, and these are important points. Damascus does not recognize the Syrian-Syrian dialogue, the Autonomous Administration carries a Syrian project, and a solution that preserves the freedom and dignity of everyone within it." Indicating that Damascus did not respond to the Autonomous Administration initiative that it launched on the 18th of April.

He reaffirmed that the doors of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria are still open for dialogue, and to reach a point of understanding that alleviates the suffering of the Syrian people.

The Autonomous Administration project is the solution for Syria

The co-chair of the Democratic Society Movement, Gharib Hesso, spoke about their diplomatic tour and the opinion of the parties they met with in the project of the democratic nation, and the experience of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, saying: "Everyone sees that the solution in Syria and the best option is the Autonomous Administration, and they do not find the solution in the policies of Damascus and the policies of Turkish fascism in Syria. Everyone supports democratic self-administration, as it carries the solution and human and moral values.

He added, "But the government's projects differ. Damascus is working to return Syria to before 2011, and Turkey is working on the neo-Ottoman project by occupying and annexing Syrian lands."
