Popular initiative to provide Hasaka with water

Popular initiatives continue for the people of the city of Hasaka, who suffer from water scarcity as a result of the Turkish occupation cutting off the water of Alouk station.

Since occupation of Serêkaniyê in 2019 to the present day, the Turkish state has been using the waters of Alouk station as a pressure card against the 1.5 million residents of Hasaka canton.

Today, the Bani Sabaa clan in Qamishlo canton sent 65 water tanks to the city of Hasaka, which was declared a disaster city, the tanks will be distributed in coordination with the Communes within the city's neighborhoods in an organized manner.

Worth to note that the city of Hasaka suffers from water scarcity as a result of cutting off the water of the Alouk water station from one and a half million people, since 2019, Hasaka has received many humanitarian initiatives presented by the municipalities of Qamishlo canton, the notables of the clans and the people of Deir Ezzor, the latest of which is the initiative of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the People and Women’s Protection Units, On the 7th of August.
