6 mercenaries killed in SDF's retaliatory operation

Today, SDF issued a statement to public opinion, in which it revealed that its forces had carried out a retaliatory operation against the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation state.

The statement said: "The Turkish occupation army and its affiliated mercenary groups continue their attacks against our areas, as our forces monitored a group of these mercenaries, who were participating in launching these attacks."

The statement stated: "On August 7, our forces carried out a surprise operation against one of the mercenary sites, in the village of Areesha, located between the regions of Sere Kaniye / Ras al-Ain and Tal Tamr.

The operation resulted in the death of /6/ mercenaries, while a fighter from the Tamr Military Council rose to the rank of martyrdom.

The operation came in retaliation for our fighters who were martyred on August 3 in Qamishlo over Turkish drone attack.
