​​​​​​​35 citizens, including 4 women, kidnapped in occupied Afrin

The past July was not without the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries committing crimes and violations against the people and the nature of Afrin. According to the Afrin-Syria Human Rights Organization, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries kidnapped 35 citizens, including four women, during July and took them to an unknown destination, bringing the number of kidnapped since the beginning of the year to more than 143 citizens, including 20 women.

The Turkish occupation also cut down, during the month of July, more than 2,036 trees, including forest, olive and pomegranate trees, and burned more than 250 olive trees in Sherawa district.

The number of trees that were cut down during the current year reached 15,500 between fruit trees (olives, walnuts, almonds, and fruits) and forestry, and they uprooted more than 1,000 trees, and burned more than 70 hectares of land cultivated with barley and wheat.

In a related context, the Turkish occupation state continues to build settlements in occupied Afrin, according to the Afrin-Syria Human Rights Organization: "Within the framework of changing the demography of the region and building settlements, the Turkish occupation, through the Brotherhood associations, built two new settlements in the districts of Shera and Janders, in addition to building a concrete wall in the district of Sherawa to isolate the occupied areas and annex them to their lands.

According to the organization, a Qatari organization has finished building a settlement in the village of Alka, in the Shara district, and had started work on it in early 2020.

The Turkish occupation, with the support of Palestinian Brotherhood organizations, is building a settlement in the center of Janders district under the name of the Turkish "Sadaqa Stone" association, to settle hundreds of mercenary families.

According to the sources of ANHA's agency, the Turkish occupation deported more than 2,000 families to the occupied Afrin canton from the al-Hamam village crossing in Janders district, at the beginning of this year, and settled them there.

The state of security chaos in occupied Afrin is escalating day after day, as there is fighting between mercenaries on an almost daily basis, over the sharing of royalties and the property of the displaced and the control of smuggling routes.
