It has been 9 years since the genocide that took place in Şengal, and what happened during these years requires a good account.

The 74 firman that the Yazidi people were subjected to is considered one of the bloodiest events in the last century, and no force prevented the attack of ISIS mercenaries on the people of this belief to exterminate them, on the contrary, the whole world was satisfied with witnessing this genocide.

The Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) guerrillas descended on Şengal to put an end to the firman despite their limited capabilities, and they saved the people of Şengal with their various religions and cultures and prevented them from being completely exterminated, and they made great sacrifices to achieve this, then they were able to evacuate hundreds of thousands of people through the humanitarian corridor and bring them to safe areas, and about 500 leaders and fighters defending the people of Şengal from the first day, despite the possibility of martyrdom.

Şengal people had been retaliated from ISIS, the enslaved women and many other people, and ISIS was prevented from advancing first in Kobani, then its forces were defeated in Raqqa, then its roots were uprooted and it was defeated in al-Baghouz. The fight against ISIS has resulted in thousands of martyrs and tens of thousands injured, and although the existence of ISIS has not completely ended that its danger is nearing an end, ISIS is no longer a danger to the whole world, so humanity in the whole world is indebted to the PKK and the Rojava Revolution, and this It is considered one aspect of the resistance and struggle during the firman, and also a reason that changed the course of history.

One aspect of the firman is the attacks of these people who make calculations and plotting plans and tricks in the name of ISIS mercenaries and who are considered a continuation of ISIS, which represents this matter is the fascist Turkish state, as the dictator Erdogan's government is the force that protects ISIS, embraces it and uses it when necessary and occupies Rojava and gives it space and protects it. It launches daily attacks against the PKK everywhere, and escalates its hostility to the Kurdish people at the international level, whether on the field or at the table. 

There is another aspect that makes people ashamed of being human, and it is represented by the case of the thousands of martyrs who were killed during the firman and are still waiting for their remains to be removed from the mass graves in which they were buried, and the burning of women in iron cages, and the kidnapping and enslavement of 4 thousand women as spoils of war and causing the displacement of 400 thousand displaced people. Their burnt villages and cities are still witness to what happened. The shocks have not ended and the wounds caused by the firman have not yet healed, and the people who are greedy for the spoils of the firman and making gains from it are considered the most cursed monsters.

And whoever is re-using this new method of injustice is the Kurdistan Democratic Party, they claim that they fought in defense of Şengal and have a right to it, and they do so without regard for any moral principles or deterrents, they are chasing people in Şengal alongside the Turkish occupation state, and killing dozens of their children the Yazidi community, and they continue to attack the Şengal Protection Forces under the pretext of the Kurdistan Workers Party.   

The methods of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in achieving gains from the firman are many. In such a situation, it influences the spiritual leaders of the Yazidis, exploits about 200 thousand displaced people in the camps, seizes donations and international funds sent to the people of Şengal, recruits young Yazidis into the Peshmerga, exploits them for espionage, and exploits the resulting emotional and psychological state. On the firman, and uses it according to his economic, political and diplomatic interests. There is no doubt that the most important thing is his endeavor to polarize the people and divide the Yazidi people on the basis of hostility to the PKK.

Those who follow the KDP and exploit Yazidis to serve their personal interests are also not a few. Those who exploit Yazidis and prefer their own interests over the interests of the people and who try to do so by attacking the PKK are in the same category with the KDP.

We are entering the ninth year of the firman, but the problem of Şengal and the ambiguity surrounding the Yazidis continues. The desired result of relations with the Iraqi state has not yet been achieved, and problems will not be resolved unless Şengal establishes a political entity.  Autonomous Administration and Self-Defense are essential, and they cannot be waived. The most important lesson that can be drawn from the firman is not to allow any other firman to be repeated.

If the KDP is allowed to return to the field with the treason agreement concluded on October 9, 2020, this will lead to the Turkish state's stationing in Şengal. The partnership of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Turkish state has today become a partnership of destiny. Wherever the Kurdistan Democratic Party has settled, the Turkish state has also settled, and as we know, their forces are stationed in the same fortifications, bases, and headquarters in the defense zones, and they wear the same military uniform.

If the KDP raises its flag in Afrin, the Turkish fighters raise their flag all over Başûr, they kill people in the cities, and if Şengal falls, its situation will be similar to that, so in order for the people of Şengal not to be subjected to another decree, they must respond to the attacks by developing and the promotion of AA, organization, women's activities and youth activities, that is, in short, the people's affairs and their mass organizations. They should no longer leave the task of defending them to any other forces, especially the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and they (the Kurdistan Democratic Party) should be tried for genocide, genocide attacks, and war crimes. A fixed crime that must definitely be held accountable.

The people of Şengal, with their resistance, deserve a decent life despite the firman, internal betrayals and external attacks. They have achieved more important achievements than ever before, and they are very close to achieving their goal, and I remember the martyrs of the firman and all the martyrs of Şengal with reverence again.
