9 years have passed since the 74th firman that the Yazidi community was subjected to in the 21st century, and while the Yazidi community is trying to get rid of the product of this firman, the Turkish occupation army, the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Iraqi government do not leave the Yazidis alone, by plotting against them in an effort to exterminate them.

On August 3, ISIS mercenaries attacked Şengal district, after international, regional and local forces met in the Jordanian capital, Amman, in June 2014, and a few days later, the Iraqi army handed over the city of Mosul to ISIS mercenaries without confronting and resisting them, and ISIS got all kinds of weapons that they left behind, and with these weapons it attacked ISIS mercenaries in Şengal district on the 3rd of August, killing thousands of its people, raping and kidnapping women, after the militants of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Iraqi army fled.

The Yazidis have been subjected to great betrayal to talk about this, ANAH's agency held a special meeting with the co-chair of the Administrative Body in Şengal, Khoudi Da Elias, who explained that the Yazidis were subjected to great betrayal by political parties aspiring to implement their agendas, and he said: "These parties worked from 2003 until 2014 according to a political program that is concerned with its benefits character, and could not protect the people of Şengal."

Khoudi Da Elias confirmed that the plans that were drawn up to exterminate the Yazidi community are still continuing, and he said: "They are trying to put great obstacles in front of the people of Şengal, by concluding agreements between the KDP and the Iraqi government at the expense of the people of Şengal."

Elias stated: "Before the attacks of ISIS mercenaries in 2014, there were 12,000 Peshmerga fighters and 52,000 Iraqi fighters, but they did not protect the people of Şengal, and they could not protect Şengal.

Elias pointed out that the scheme that was drawn up for the extermination of the Yazidis is still valid to this day, and Elias said: "The firman continues through the schemes planned by the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Iraqi government, who want to obstruct our efforts and do not want us to build our administration here, they do not allow the people to continue their work."

Elias emphasized that despite the difficulties and challenges, the Yazidi people remained attached to the Şengal Mountains, and pledged not to leave these mountains.

Khoudi Da Elias thanked the People's Defense Forces that protected and defended Şengal and said, "We thank the students of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, thanks to whom the displaced people of Şengal return to their homes today."

Elias stressed that the Autonomous Administration in Şengal is not against the Iraqi state, and said: "We consider ourselves part of the Iraqi people, and we want to run ourselves by ourselves and build our own administration, because we do not trust anyone who comes to protect us and imposes his dominance on the people of Şengal. This matter is totally rejected."

And he indicated that the Iraqi constitution allows the Yazidis to form their own self-administration in accordance with its articles (116, 117, 121, 125).

He explained, "In 2014, we saw how the Peshmerga and the Iraqi forces fled and were unable to protect our people. Today, the Yazidi people can protect themselves without their presence, and had it not been for the presence of the Autonomous Administration and the formed forces, the people of Şengal would not have been able to return to their hometown."

Elias touched on the Turkish attacks against the Yazidi community in Şengal, and said: "NATO countries supply Turkey with weapons, and with these weapons our administrators and leaders in the Autonomous Administration and the military are being targeted. They are targeting the personalities who resisted and struggled."

Khoudi Da Elias noted: "For 1400 years, the Ottomans have been hostile to us and attacked us. The firmans against us have not ended. Turkey has developed its military technology to end the roots of the Yazidi people and exterminate them. They want to create another firman to eliminate the Yezidis."

Elias stressed that the Turkish occupation state and the Kurdistan Democratic Party, in cooperation with the Iraqi government, are striving to undermine the administration of the Yazidis, through the agreement of October 9, 2020, on the one hand, and on the other hand, the Turkish occupation state targets the Yazidi community and uses the Iraqi army against the will of the people of Şengal, with these plans they want emptying Şengal again.

He said, "The Yazidi community will not accept this agreement between the Barzani family and the Iraqi government in any way, nor will it accept attacks that target its will."

Khoudi da Elias called on the international forces and the living human conscience to raise his voice and stop the Turkish attacks against the Yazidi community.

Khoudi Da Elias thanked the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria and invited them to participate in the trial sessions of foreign ISIS mercenaries, and said: "This is how we will be able to recover our rights after asking for an account from those who committed the crimes, and called on the Iraqi government to take similar steps and invite the Yazidi people and their representatives to trial sessions ".
