A fiasco and permanent conflicts

In this regard, Professor of History at Al-Azhar University, Mahmoud Zayed, believes that the reality and his previous experiences in the Middle East region confirm the extent of the catastrophic failure that resulted from the Sykes-Picot, San Remo, Lausanne agreements after nearly 100 years and more, according to which the Middle East region was divided according to interests. Western imperialism, and made it in the form of loyal national cartoon entities, has led to more backwardness and fragmentation of the region, and to perpetuation of political and bloody conflicts.

The history professor pointed out that reform projects for the reality and future of the region have appeared from time to time during the past 100 years by thinkers and scholars, but they have not succeeded. Either because it was not heard because it did not possess the executive tools for its contents, or because it did not like the existing authoritarian regimes that saw in these projects their overthrow and thrones.

The solution is there

Meanwhile, according to a professor of history at Al-Azhar University, a new reform project appeared in the region and the world by Mr. Abdullah Ocalan, in which he tweeted away from the regimes of the countries of the region and the interests of the major powers, and the demolition of the nation-states created by Sykes-Picot and Lausanne, and relied on total change in its comprehensive sense, on The level of the individual, the group, and the system, regardless of the different races, religions, and sects, under what is known as the “democratic nation” and in the “democratic Middle East.” This project, which confronts with all force the Western project called the "Greater Middle East", in which the United States and the West use some Middle Eastern countries as functional states to expand Western control and influence in the region, so that the peoples remain for another period of time ruled by tyranny and authoritarianism, and in an intellectual, economic and political delay.

  The history professor considered that "the democratic Middle East project put forward by Mr. Ocalan is the most important project for building an advanced democratic system among all the components of the Middle East region as a model for a new democratic world and to save the region from its crises." Pointing out that the current practical experience in North and East Syria "Rojava" is an application of some of what was mentioned in this project despite all the obstacles it faces militarily, socially and politically, whether from the inside or from Erdogan's authoritarian regime, which works day and night to annihilate this experience.

Zayed called for adopting the project of leader Abdul Ocalan, saying: "If the Middle East wants to overcome its crises, it must get rid of what Sykes-Picot and Lausanne have established, and seek to adopt a new project that achieves the progress and well-being of the peoples of the region."

The professor of history at Al-Azhar University considered that the region is in a strong need to raise awareness of the democratic Middle East project and its ability to create a just, democratic, national state, in which everyone participates, from home, neighborhood, street, village, etc. to the entity of the state. Therefore, a number of practical centers for education and awareness must be spread.
