HPG: 72 Turkish occupation soldiers killed during July

On Tuesday, the Media Center of the People's Defense Forces (HPG) issued a statement revealing the outcome of the battles of last July, in the defense areas of Mediya in Başûr (Southern Kurdistan), in which it said:

The Treaty of Lausanne, which divided our country into four parts by ignoring the Kurdish people and the reality of Kurdistan, with the aim of obliterating our people into the systems of nation-states and committing genocide against them, entered its hundredth year, and the treaty led to many countless massacres, occupation attacks and genocides over the course of a century. As a result, the Kurdish people sacrificed hundreds of thousands of martyrs, and all the legitimate objections of the Kurdish people were crushed and suppressed by committing massacres. It is legitimate for all peoples of the world, especially the Kurdish people, and unfortunately the dominant world order committed this crime together, however, the Kurdish people, despite their sacrifices and despite their divided position and weaknesses, paid precious sacrifices in the face of this genocide over a period of one hundred years and managed to continue In its existence to this day, and in turn, our party - the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) - which has led the liberation struggle of the Kurdish people in the last fifty years, through the developments it led in Kurdistan and outside the homeland, tore the Treaty of Lausanne based on the decision to die for our people and the shroud that was imposed on the Kurdish people.

During the month of July, 17 military operations were carried out in both Northern Kurdistan and the legitimate defense areas, and the arenas were attacked and bombed 283 times with warplanes, 168 times with attack helicopters, and hundreds of times with artillery, tanks and heavy weapons, and the attacks were launched 9 times with banned explosives on our trenches in The resistance squares, and resorted to using a total of 6 tactical nuclear bombs, as they bombed 4 times against our trenches in the resistance squares located in Side in the Zap region, and twice against our trenches located in the resistance square in the FM hill located in the Shahid Dalil area in western Zap.

"130 Guerrilla attacks and 174 soldiers killed"

The fighters of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla continue their continuous struggle to protect the Kurdish people and Kurdistan against all enemy attacks, as our forces carried out 130 operations during the month of July, killing 72 soldiers of the occupation army, including a high-ranking officer, and wounding 16 others, and many were destroyed and damaged of military vehicles and equipment.

"7 fighters of the Guerrilla forces were martyred"

The fighters of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla follow in the footsteps of the martyrs with the guerrilla spirit to resist the death fast of July 14, as last July all our comrades were martyred, Mirza Parkran (Mirza Sazak), Bankin Barman (Hero Karatash) and Redur Cesar (Govan Ozcan) who fought with the same spirit, awareness and faith in Northern Kurdistan; Also martyred in the areas of defense were all of our comrades and comrades, Vihan Merdin (Leyla Alcayoglu), Zinnar Sri Jia (Zinar Mehmet Abdul Ghani), Bauer Arin (Masut Damirkaran) and Berkhadan Farqin (Sardar Majin), and our comrades and comrades joined from Ghazran to Matina, and from Bhutan to Zap, who resisted with great determination and with a sacrificial spirit and unrivaled faith, to the caravan of martyrs led by our liberation struggle, and we will take the unwavering position of our martyr comrades and companions who rose until their last breath, always as an example for us to follow And it will be a reason to achieve the goals and achieve victory.”
