Turkish occupation targets farmers in countryside of Kobani

According to information from the village of Qaramogh, 14 km east of the city of Kobani; The Turkish occupation targets villagers and prevents farmers from watering their agricultural lands.

In an interview with ANHA agency; Abdullah Mahmoud, a resident of the village of Qaramogh, said that the bases of the occupation army are on the northern side of the border. It has been targeting farmers for about 10 days, and preventing them from accessing their lands, indicating that the matter is repeated daily.

Mahmoud confirmed that the occupying power targeted two generators for the residents of the village, which are for farmers Fawaz Khalil and Ibrahim Hanifi.

Most of the areas near the border between Rojava and Bakur (Northern Kurdistan) are planted with grains and trees. Over the past years, dozens of people have lost their lives as a result of direct targeting, the occupation also deliberately burned agricultural crops and prevented residents from approaching the border wall that the Turkish state built inside Syrian territory, cutting off large parts of rural villages, and exploiting the crisis in Syria.
