Details about talks between AANES, opposition, Damascus Government

In response to the co-chair of the Department of External Relations in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Badran Ciya Kurd, to some of the inquiries of the participants in the Syrian Forum for the July 19 Revolution, which was organized, Monday, under the auspices of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), in the city of Hasakah in North and East Syria, he revealed new details. It may answer many questions that are circulating in the minds of the Syrian people, especially the people in North and East Syria.

At the outset of his response, Giya Kurd, he referred to the policy adopted since the beginning of the Syrian crisis, and what the revolution has reached today in North and East Syria: "What has been achieved in the region was thanks to the integrated mentality and mentality of the leadership of this revolution and its principles, unlike the parties that It has turned into tools for implementing foreign agendas, and has diverted the Syrian revolution from its course."

He said: "The July 19 Revolution relied on preserving and protecting the regions and not getting involved in regional and international conflicts, and the main goal was to protect the people of the region. On this basis, we adopted the principle of coexistence, which was mainly among the residents of the region, to be a basic basis for the launch of the revolution, and we sought a political system in the framework of a unified Syria within the current political borders, unlike the rest of the parties that have always accused us of separatism.

In his response, Ciya Kurd revealed the latest political changes, and the level of communication and discussions of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, with all other parties in and outside Syria, starting with its level with the internal and external Syrian opposition with a democratic orientation, and with efforts for change, passing through its level with the so-called " The Syrian Opposition Coalition", reaching its level with the Damascus government.

Next fall is the date of a Syrian conference for the forces of democratic change

At the outset, he touched on its level with the democratic-oriented and moderate opposition, and its owners who want change, as he said: “There has been continuous work for years, and there is a project towards establishing a Syrian national democratic front, given that our project is based on a Syrian national democratic front, and accordingly work is being done to develop this Work with all Syrian parties, especially those that believe in the basic principles of preserving Syria. At the current stage, there are ongoing meetings and discussions to reach a Syrian conference for the forces of democratic change, and this work has reached its final stages, and this work can be done during the fall season, "without revealing more details about its exact history.

The opposition linked to Turkey cannot be reached with it unless it abandons the foreign agenda and its violations

With regard to discussions and communication with other Syrian opposition parties at home and abroad, as well as the so-called "Syrian Opposition Coalition," he said: "There is communication with all the opposition blocs and groups present in Syria and abroad, as for communication with the opposition affiliated with the Turkish occupation, and in the areas where It is occupied by Turkey, so we cannot discuss it much, or discuss and communicate with it.”

He justified this by saying: "Because it is linked to the Turkish occupation and continues its violations against the peoples of the region, and it is not possible to reach an agreement with them, unless they abandon their foreign agendas, then communication with them can take place."

The level of discussions and negotiation between the Autonomous Administration and the Damascus government

As for the level of the Autonomous Administration's communication and discussion with the Damascus government, he said: "Our position on the Syrian regime from the political point of view is consistent, since the beginning of the revolution until now, and when we carried out our popular movement in Rojava, our position was clear, represented by the need for comprehensive change in Syria. We do not seek to change the rule in Syria or the transfer of power, but rather our goal is to change the internal politics and change the constitution, so that this constitution is a guarantor of the rights of all the components and societies present in Syria.Therefore, we still adhere to this position, and at the current stage there are no changes in the level of discussion. Or the understanding between the Autonomous Administration and the regime, and there is no political negotiation or any dialogue or agreement so far.

He noted the existence of military coordination, without coordination and political understanding, saying: "There is coordination between the Syrian Democratic Forces and the army forces through the Russian side, after Turkey's occupation of the city of Serêkaniyê, but it does not go beyond that, and we cannot mention it as an understanding with the Syrian regime, but we invite them always for dialogue to end the suffering of the Syrian people.
