Syrian Forum for July 19th Revolution: AANES possesses the power in solving Syrian crisis

The work of the Syrian Forum for the July 19 Revolution, which started hours ago this morning under the slogan "July 19: Women's and Peoples' Revolution and the Guarantee of a Democratic Syria," was concluded with the reading of the final statement by Sabah Othman, a member of the Preparatory Committee for the Forum's activities.

It stated:

On July 17, 2023, based on the invitation made by the Democratic Union Party (PYD) to hold the (Syrian Forum for the July 19 Revolution) in the city of Hasakah, under the slogan: July 19, the revolution of women and peoples and ensuring a democratic Syria. The forum was attended by more than 150 national forces, parties and political figures  , from the community activities from all regions of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, and it was not possible for those to whom the invitation was addressed to arrive in Damascus and other Syrian regions.

The forum opened with a minute of silence on the souls of the martyrs of freedom, and speeches delivered by the co-chairmanship of the Democratic Union Party and the Women's and People's Protection Units YPG-YPJ. Then the work of the forum began through six axes that formed the titles of the forum and the issues that were highlighted: the strategy of the July 19 revolution and its dimensions, the revolution with the leadership of women, the agreement of peoples and their co-existence and the unity of their destiny, the nature and structure of the Autonomous Administration, the challenges facing the administration, and the solution to the Syrian crisis according to the Autonomous Administration .

The forum clarified that the July 19 revolution had an advanced reading of the events that the region and the world were going through, stressing that the crises the region is going through, in the example of the Syrian crisis, are structural crises related to the agreements that dealt with the region for more than a century until now, at the forefront of these agreements are Lausanne, Sykes-Picot and others that were not taken into account. In which the will of the peoples of the region, their aspirations, and their rights came to achieve goals and goals through which they guarantee the subordination of the region and at the same time a haven for exporting the crises of the dominant regime through and through them, especially when the region was divided and maps and identities were imposed on it, which have become reeling lately and confirm that the form of the central nation-state failed after it sidelined the aspirations The peoples of the region returned to their truth, foremost of which was the Kurdish people, who were divided into four sections: Syria, Iraq, Turkey and Iran. These agreements also distanced the reality of the coexistence of the peoples of the region and the unity of their fate and brotherhood throughout the paths of history and at various stations. Accordingly, the July 19 Revolution adopted the strategy of the third line and preserved its specificity. It was not with the reproduction of the central tyranny regime, nor was it with that opposition that implements agendas that threaten Syria and the security and stability of the entire region. The third line represented the aspirations of the people of Syria and its components in achieving democratic change. Our party is within the strategy of the revolution by playing an effective role in institutionalizing society, building communes and councils within villages and neighborhoods, and establishing bodies and institutions in all societal levels. These forces are a global symbol against terrorism after resisting Kobani and defeating terrorism from it until the liberation of al-Baghouz, the last stronghold of ISIS in its alleged state.

The forum also stressed the specificity of the stage and the statement of the challenges facing the Autonomous Administration, whether of external origin in the form of projects that threaten the security and stability of the region, most notably the new Ottoman Empire and its agenda and functional tools that are now lacking the lowest meanings of Syrian patriotism and societal democracy, and at the same time the insistence of the central tyrannical regime to reproduce itself the Syrian opposition is dispersed and the democratic forces fail to carry out the roles entrusted to them in the required manner and in accordance with the nature and complexities of the stage. Numerous issues have also been identified that constitute together points in the door of challenges that must be stopped and possible solutions developed, such as addressing migration, standing in the face of private war, and working to reach the truth of the revolutionary people, as well as developing sustainable plans and solutions that contribute to strengthening the infrastructure of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, especially the service section.

The attendees also stressed that the July 19 revolution, and through the Autonomous Administration, now possesses the strength and meaning of a democratic solution to the Syrian crisis, and that it is necessary for it to have a Syrian national dimension, and for the administration to find its way towards an effective and balanced representation of it in the Syrian political process, and for concerted efforts to obtain positive interaction. What is required with the Autonomous Administration initiative at all levels, whether Syrian or regional and international, and in all its dimensions: political, social, diplomatic, humanitarian, etc., and that the Autonomous Administration and its flexibility towards constructive and realistic dialogue with all Syrian parties, and the efforts shown by the Autonomous Administration in the field of non-politicization of files Humanity, Missing and Refugee Affairs, and recently its willingness to start trial of ISIS elements from its regions, which provided more than 35,000 martyrs and war wounded. The international community should be more open and provide all assistance to the Autonomous Administration in all fields.
