​​​​​​​AANES Representative in Lebanon: We are ready to receive Syrian refugees under international supervision

In a statement to ANHA's agency, the representative of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria in Lebanon, Abdel Salam Ahmed, revealed that he met with the Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdullah Bou Habib, within the framework of meetings with Lebanese political, cultural and societal actors.

The representative of the Autonomous Administration pointed out during his statement that, "He was handed over the decisions of the conference towards a democratic Middle East - the path to peace, which was held in Beirut on June 13-14, as well as the initiative to solve the Syrian crisis by the Autonomous Administration, which included a road map for resolving the Syrian crisis, And the Autonomous Administration's readiness to receive Syrian refugees under international supervision.

The Autonomous Administration in North and East Syria, through the co-chair of its external relations department, Badran Ciya Kurd, announced an initiative through which it expressed its willingness to receive refugees, after the deportations carried out by the Lebanese authorities.

The Autonomous Administration confirmed that it is ready to receive Syrian refugees who suffer from a "very bad situation" in Lebanon, and that its doors are open to all Syrians without discrimination as a humanitarian, moral and patriotic duty.

Ahmed added, "His Excellency the Minister was asked to form a coordination committee to solve this file and other files of interest to the Syrian and Lebanese peoples."

The minister welcomed the initiative and resolved the issue of the Syrian refugees and discussed this within the framework of the government, according to the representative of the Autonomous Administration in Lebanon.
