Lifting isolation on Ocalan is the most important output of 2ndInternational Conference on Religions and Beliefs

The work of the Second International Conference on Religions and Beliefs, held in the city of al-Hasakah, was concluded under the title "By the brotherhood of religions we advance human values", sponsored by the Forum of Religions and Beliefs of Mesopotamia in North and East Syria, for two continuous days, in which more than 300 personalities including religious scholars and representatives of Religious sects and sects in North and East Syria, the Middle East and the world, to issue a final statement.

The statement was read by the co-chair of the Democratic Islam Conference, Dalal Khalil.

It stated:

Under the slogan (By the brotherhood of religions, we advance human values), the Second International Conference of Religions and Beliefs was held under the auspices of the Forum of Religions and Beliefs of Mesopotamia, in North and East Syria, as a continuation of the efforts made over a year and a half, with the men and women of this forum coming together to achieve the agreed outputs and recommendations. In the first conference, work was done on some of them, and the conditions the region is going through from the Turkish threats, the movement of ISIS sleeper cells, and the political and economic blockade prevented work on others.

Believing in human brotherhood and devotion to its lofty values, and expressing their sincerity of intentions to achieve the goal for which God created creation, (human brotherhood and the building of the earth on the basis of love, justice and peace) and their endeavor to revive it after it was exhausted by wars of sectarian and sectarian fanaticism fueled by abhorrent and manipulative policies.

A sense of their religious, human and moral responsibility towards the conflicts happening in the world that led to bloodshed and the destruction and looting of homelands and property. The origin of this conflict is the distortion of religions and the wisdom of the wise from their correct path, and the diagnosis of the causes of the conflict in order to find ways to solve it through various means, such as presenting religious texts that call for brotherhood, coexistence, equality in rights and duties, and distancing from interpretations and distortions that call for enmity and hatred, and activating commonalities and rejecting differences, Directing the media and the elite of intellectuals, thinkers, reformers, and philosophers to support this approach and revive the values of justice, love, peace, equality, and human fraternity, and that they are the refuge and the way to salvation, and make places of worship platforms and sources for spreading love and peace, and support the centers and institutions concerned in this regard, so that they join efforts in order to

In the closing statement of its previous conference, we affirm the following to support and activate these values:

Raising the status of societal morals that establish human values

Expanding the circle of relations with the relevant personalities and entities to support this approach and make it the basis for all relations between the different components of society.

Issuing a magazine named Al-Multaqa (paper and electronic) in Kurdish, Arabic and English.

The forum holds its regular conference every two years.

Holding seminars and educational courses for men and scholars of religions with the aim of unifying the peaceful religious discourse.

Establishing offices for the forum at home and abroad, according to the need, capabilities and necessity of work.

 On the occasion of 100th anniversary of the ill-fated Lausanne Agreement, one of the results of which was the division of Kurdistan between four countries.

On this occasion, we direct our appeal to all the various religious institutions and centers and global organizations and bodies to carry out their humanitarian and moral duty to lift the state of existential denial against the Kurdish people who have been living on their historical land for thousands of years. We also appreciate what the Kurdistan National Congress is doing in terms of a group of forums in several cities and in the city of Lausanne On the same day that the decision to partition was taken, and that the least that can be done by the sponsoring countries of that ominous agreement first, international institutions and bodies and global decision centers second is to recognize the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria with all its religious, racial and ethnic components, to preserve this social fabric and painting the mosaic that was represented today by this auspicious conference, which included all religions, beliefs and sects in the region.

We also call, through this blessed presence and the participants in this conference, all religious institutions and personalities around the world to raise their voice and call for lifting the state of isolation imposed on the leader and thinker Abdullah Ocalan, as a moral, religious and human duty, calling for the brotherhood of peoples and religions on the grounds of humanity, and the owner of the democratic nation, and this conference is only one of the fruits of his thought and call, and loyalty to him and the millions of people who believe in his thought around the world.

We also call, through this blessed presence and the participants in this conference, all religious institutions and personalities around the world to raise their voice and call for lifting the state of isolation imposed on the leader and thinker Abdullah Ocalan, as a moral, religious and human duty, calling for the brotherhood of peoples and religions on the grounds of humanity, and the owner of the democratic nation, and this conference is only one of the fruits of his thought and call, and loyalty to him and the millions of people who believe in his thought around the world.

We demand the imposition of an air embargo on the areas of the Autonomous Administration in North and East Syria to protect people of all religions and beliefs from genocide.

We hope that this conference will be a motive for consolidating the principles of tolerance and brotherhood among all believers in religions and those who believe in human brotherhood and coexistence called for by religions and beliefs. Let us get acquainted, cooperate and coexist as loving brothers. This is what we hope and seek to achieve in order to reach a world peace that everyone enjoys in this life with love and happiness.”
