Deir al-Zor Civil Council: world must support SDF and AANES to fight "terrorism"

Deir al-Zor Civil Council, at the conclusion of the activities of sit-in tent condemning the Turkish occupation attacks and demanding the physical freedom for leader Ocalan, called on the whole world to support the SDF and the AANES to fight "terrorism".

The activities of the sit-in tent organized by the Deir al-Zor Civil Council in the town of Hajin in the eastern countryside of Deir al-Zor concluded on its second and last day, with a statement read by the co-chair of the Civil Council in the eastern countryside of Deir al-Zor, Safia al-Hassan, in the presence of sheikhs and clan dignitaries, members of civil and military institutions, and the Revolutionary Youth Movement.

The statement reads: "We, the administration of the eastern region, condemn and denounce the Turkish aggression against our regions, and we demand the free world to assume its responsibilities seriously to protect our people from Turkish aggressions aimed at occupying our lands, displacing our people, and creating chaos in the Middle East".

The statement stressed, "The world must support the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria to combat terrorism that threatens the whole world, and human rights organizations and the United Nations must seriously contribute to ending the isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan".

The statement emphasized, "Turkey's assassinations against administrators, politicians, civilians, and military personnel are clear evidence of Turkish aggression and its barbarism to weaken our will to combat terrorism".

It concluded, "The Turkish occupation has repeatedly tried to contribute to terrorists escaping from prisons for creating chaos in the Middle East, and its attacks on NE Syria have increased after the AANES' decision to start trying ISIS mercenaries detained by it. These policies have become clear to the whole world; therefore, International forces fighting terrorism must stand in the face of Turkish violations against our people, who love peace and wish it for all peoples".
