SDF released detainees whose hands were not stained with Syrians’ blood

The release came in response to the demands of the sheikhs and notables of the clans in Deir-ez-Zor, after it was proven that their hands are not stained with Syrians’ blood.

The Syrian Democratic Forces ensured the release of those who come from the regions of Deir ez-Zor to their families in the presence of sheikhs and notables, while it worked to secure the arrival of those who are not from the regions of North and East Syria to their regions.

The sheikh of the Al-Akidat tribe, Jamil Al-Hafel, said in an interview with ANHA’s agency: "We thank the Autonomous Administration for this blessing and for releasing a number of detainees from all regions of Syria, not only from the Autonomous Administration's regions."

Al-Hafel pointed out that the release of these batches of detainees in response to the requests of the region's notables and social activities indicates the extent of trust between the region's military leadership and its notables.

He concluded his speech by saying: "We thank our forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces, and we appreciate them for their efforts. This initiative is not the first and will not be the last in releasing those whose hands have not been stained with the blood of Syrians."

In his turn, the notable of the al-Akidat clan, Najm al-Nijras, praised the role of the Syrian Democratic Forces in protecting the region and meeting the demands of the clans, and stressed that "a great responsibility lies with the sheikhs, dignitaries and notables of the region because they represent the segments of society, and they must support the forces in maintaining security and safety."

It is noteworthy that the Syrian Democratic Forces released, in previous times, a number of detainees, on bail, notables and dignitaries of the regions in North and East Syria.
