War-wounded calls for international tribunal to hold ISIS mercenaries accountable

The war-wounded in the city of Raqqa called on the international coalition to establish an international court to hold ISIS mercenaries accountable in NE Syria.

After completely liberating the regions of NE Syria from ISIS mercenaries, the Syrian Democratic Forces arrested thousands of ISIS mercenaries and detained them in prisons, which poses a great threat to the security of the region, amid calls to hold them accountable.

In this regard, ANHA agency met with the war-wounded in Raqqa, where Abd al-Rahman al-Hussein, a fighter in the ranks of the Syrian Democratic Forces who was injured in the campaign to liberate Raqqa, confirmed: "ISIS mercenaries committed crimes against our people in the region, and it was necessary to hold them accountable".

He stressed, "The presence of ISIS mercenaries in prisons is like a time bomb, if it explodes, it will affect the entire region." Al-Hussein added, "We, the war-wounded, demand justice from the international coalition and international organizations to establish an international tribunal to try ISIS mercenaries in NE Syria, because they committed massacres and crimes in this region.

In turn, Muhammad al-Darwish, who was wounded in the battle to liberate Raqqa, said: "ISIS mercenaries committed crimes against women, children and the elderly, and it is necessary to try them as soon as possible," and demanded that these mercenaries and their families be returned to their countries.

And as for, Mohammed al-Barjs, fighter in Syrian Democratic Forces, who was wounded in the Şengal region, said: "ISIS mercenaries do not know mercy and pity. They committed massacres against the peoples of the region and did not differentiate between man, woman, child and sheikh.

Al-Barjs called on the international coalition to carry out its humanitarian and moral duty to hold ISIS mercenaries accountable and to establish an international tribunal for them in the regions of NE Syria.
