Mutual Shelling in De-Escalation  Zone

SOHR said this morning, the Damascus government forces bombed, with heavy artillery, the villages of Al-Ankawi and Al-Qahira in the Al-Ghab Plain area in the western countryside of Hama, as well as the villages of Fleifel and Al-Haluba in the Jabal Al-Zawiya area in the southern countryside of Idlib.

In the context, the mercenaries of "Tahrir al-Sham" targeted the positions of the Damascus government forces on the axis of the village of Kawkaba in the Jabal al-Zawiya area in the southern countryside of Idlib with artillery shells, and they also targeted with mortar shells the latter's positions on the Atarib axis in the western countryside of Aleppo, no information about fatalities.

This comes days after a Russian escalation in the so-called "De-Escalation" Areas, whereby Russian warplanes resumed their raids on Idlib countryside, as they targeted, on May 26, the Fleifel and Sufuhn axis in Jabal Al-Zawiya in the southern countryside of Idlib, for the first time since last December 2022. It was bombed on May 29, targeting the village of Bazabour and the vicinity of Jabal Al-Arbaeen in Idlib countryside.
