Arab politician calls for the protection” Makhmour camp”

In this context, Ibrahim Al-Thalaj, the representative of the Modernity and Democracy Party in North and East Syria, condemned, during a statement to ANHA’s agency, the actions of the Iraqi government regarding its handling of the camp file, and considered that this dealing comes in implementation of Turkey's desire.

Al-Thalaj indicated that the camp was established more than thirty years ago and is a humanitarian camp recognized by the United Nations. It implements Turkey's desire on Iraqi soil.

Emphasis on standing with the people of Makhmur

The representative of the Modernity and Democracy Party in North and East Syria held the Baghdad government and the Kurdistan Democratic Party responsible for the security and safety of the camp's residents, stressing that they in the Modernity and Democracy Party stand with the legitimate demands of the camp's residents.

Refugee organizations must assume their responsibilities

Al-Thalaj called on the United Nations and refugee affairs organizations to assume their humanitarian responsibilities towards the refugee issue in the camp of the martyr Rustam Judy in Makhmur district, and to protect them from political conspiracies, attempts to exterminate them, break their will, and keep refugee issues away from political issues.
