​​​​​​​Politicians praise AANES’ initiative to solve the Syrian crisis

The Syrian scene is getting more complicated day by day, since the start of the crisis in 2011, due to the multiplicity of parties to the conflict between local, regional and international ones, at a time when the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria is seeking to reach a solution to the crisis.

The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria launched an initiative on April 18 that included nine items to solve the Syrian crisis, through which it focused on the necessity of granting all components their legitimate rights within a unified Syria, ending the Turkish occupation, continuing efforts to combat "terrorism", fair sharing of wealth and keenness on the principle of achieving social justice.

Segments of Syrian society believe that the initiative is represented by democracy, pluralism, and the system of political and economic decentralization, which is the most appropriate solution to the Syrian crisis.

The head of the Studies Office of the Conservative Party in al-Hasakah, Hassan al-Hassan, indicated that the Autonomous Administration launched several initiatives for dialogue with the Damascus government and other parties inside Syria to solve the country's crisis.

Hassan al-Hassan noted that: "The initiative of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria came in conjunction with a regional openness to the Damascus government and the international community's oblivion of what is happening in Syria," and stressed that the initiative launched by the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria is distinguished by its clarity and realism because it included clear provisions for resolving the crisis.

Hassan al-Hassan explained that they, as peoples and political parties in North and East Syria, consider themselves part of the Autonomous Administration and the initiative it launched, and noted: "The model that is being worked on in the areas of the Autonomous Administration is fit to be a model in various Syrian regions."

Al-Hassan believed that the initiative is represented by democracy, pluralism and decentralization, and stressed: "We will be contributors and actors to achieve this initiative, and we will provide visions and ideas that are commensurate with the Syrian reality and work to establish peace, coexistence and democracy in the country."

Hassan al-Hassan stressed that they represent a wide segment of the Syrian people, especially the clans in Syria, and noted: "We will be keen on this Syrian initiative, which is for all Syrians and is not limited to specific parties."

They are determined to cooperate to reach safety

For his part, a member of the General Council of the Future Syria Party in the city of Hasakah, Abdel Fattah Fatimi, explained that the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, with all its political and diplomatic bodies, calls on the Syrian society and those concerned to solve the Syrian dilemma in an optimal way and address it.

Abdel-Fattah Fatimi stressed the need for Syria to reach safety, and noted: "We insist on cooperation in order to bring the country to safety."

And Fatimi stated that: "The old mentality does not fit this stage. We need new mentalities to overcome this stage and develop a comprehensive future project for our country through a pluralistic federal system."
