HPG reveals  outcome  of Turkish attacks during April

Today, the Media Center of the People's Defense Forces issued a written statement, in which it revealed the outcome of the battles and attacks on the defense areas of Media during the month of April.

 The text of the statement reads:

 "Guerillas of the Kurdistan Liberation Movement, which represents the main defensive force and the will of freedom for our oppressed people, defended the holy land of Kurdistan in front of the occupying powers in the most difficult circumstances. The fascist regime of the Justice and Development Party and the National Movement, the enemy of the Kurdish people, harnesses all its capabilities to attack the Kurds.  The fascist special war regime, which is economically and politically destructive, continues its dirty war on the basis of eliminating the free will of the Kurdish people, trying to survive in this way. 

In return, our fighters, who fight with loyalty , confront the attacks of the occupiers by reinforcing the approach of resistance, as they fought a historic resistance.

The existence of the fascist regime of the Justice and Development Party is based on the extermination of the Kurdish people and seeks to achieve its goals through dirty methods of war, so it escalated its attacks with the approach of the elections, trying to trick public opinion with false news and deceive them with stories of imaginary victories, and then exploit the war policy in its favor.  The regime of the Justice and Development Party and the National Movement, which commits war crimes, has carried out from Merdin to Botan, from Botan to Sarhad in Bakur Kurdistan;  Dozens of attacks with the aim of extermination, harnessing thousands of occupiers and the latest technologies, and despite that, it was unable to achieve the goals it hoped.

The defense areas were bombarded 1081 times

The fortifications of the resistance in the defense areas were widely bombed, according to what our forces documented, 76 times with warplanes, 61 times with helicopters, 944 times with tanks, artillery, missiles and heavy weapons;  The total number of bombing operations is 1081 times.  The Turkish occupation army also committed more war crimes during this month, as it attacked Guerrilla fortifications 8 times with chemical weapons and banned bombs.  This fascist regime ferociously commits various forms of war crimes and crimes against humanity, putting all its hope in them.  This is the last attempt by this destructive regime.  Our forces confronted the enemy during its attacks, which led to clashes that resulted in the death of two soldiers of the Turkish occupation army, in addition to the destruction of a monitoring camera system and artillery 57.

Guerilla strengthens the Kurdistan liberation movement, who have reformed themselves as the Guerilla of democratic modernity and Freedom Hope of Women,  youth and all oppressed people, with the sacred efforts of our immortal martyrs who fought with sacrifice until the last breath of their lives, the hope for a free future.  Among these Guerrillas , our comrades;  Xebatkar bakûk, Baxer Wan, Hijar Zozan, Rozîda bawer, Akin Rizkar Malazikert, who were martyred in Bakur Kurdistan during April, and our comrade Botan Koy, who was martyred in the defense areas of Media, our comrades wrote their names on the pages of the history of the honorable resistance of our people in golden letters.
