The state of chaos and security chaos continues in Daraa, where shooting attacks continue at the hands of unidentified gunmen, in addition to bombings and targeting in a variety of ways.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the month of April witnessed 61 attacks, killing 47 people, mostly citizens and members of the Damascus government forces and affiliated groups.

While the outcome of the targeting in Daraa, since the beginning of the year until today, has reached 175 security chaos incidents, all of which took place in different ways and methods, and resulted in the death of 135 people.

These numbers and the escalating rate of targeting and murders confirm the failure of the Damascus government to control the security situation in the Syrian regions on which “settlements” were imposed, especially the city of Daraa, which underwent two settlement processes, the first in 2018 and the second in 2021, as the policy of imposition and coercion turned the region into a hotbed.
