The speech of the Co-Chair of the Office of Relations in the Democratic Union Party (PYD), Sihanouk Dibo, came during a lecture he gave this evening, at the Rojavayê Kurdistanê Intellectuals Union Center HRRK, in the city of Qamishlo, under the title "The Syrian Crisis. Prospects and Methods of Solution" in the presence of dozens of intellectuals and politicians.

During the lecture, Dibo stressed the interdependence of variables and events on the international scene with each other and their impact on the Syrian reality, stressing: "We can describe it as a changing phase, the forces are fighting among themselves, and it is a phase of change and transition to a dominant multipolar system, including the ongoing conflict in Sudan, which is nothing but the struggle for hegemony between world powers, and certainly affects Syria and its crisis.

Regarding the rapprochement of Arab governments with the Damascus government, Sihanouk Dibo pointed out: "We support the improvement of Syrian relations with all regional countries, as we believe that Syria is an integral part of the regional environment, but we believe that these rapprochements and normalization attempts will not succeed due to the overlapping agendas of these parties." Where we find that all convergences are conditional, and Arab countries have different visions.

Dibo assessed the recent quadripartite meeting between Russia, Turkey, Iran and Syria, saying: "The lack of a final statement of the meeting parties raised some reservations, especially the conflicting positions after the meeting between Damascus and Ankara, which refuted each other on several matters, raising many questions about the results of the meeting, as the contradictions were revealed." Between the parties, there are obstacles that prevent their agreement, however, we do not rule out the danger of the meeting, as there was a unified agreement on the enmity of the Kurdish issue.

Regarding the Autonomous Administration initiative, Dibo said: "The initiative is a solution to the horizons of the crisis, and it is a high enrichment for UN Resolution 2,254. It is an integrated project and a solution to the crisis in all aspects, and it does not contradict the UN resolution with a non-sectarian, democratic rule for Syria, the cessation of military operations and the fight against terrorism, which is an answer to the Syrians and their crisis where it failed." Both Astana and Geneva and other tracks are about translating the solution, unlike the Autonomous Administration project, which is a solution for all Syrians and is subject to development in all aspects, as it discusses the dimensions of the crisis, including administrative, economic and social ones.

Regarding attitudes towards the initiative, Dibo revealed that there are many positive attitudes so far, and said: "There are positive attitudes at the regional and national levels, and work will be done to prepare meetings and consultations to develop and include common visions, and this will be a sustainable solution to the Syrian crisis. The initiative is the creation of a new history that is worthy of the history of the region." and its people and the sacrifices they made, which are clear and do not receive any confusion, and indicate the strength and effectiveness of the administration.”

In order to solve the worsening Syrian crisis, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria launched, on April 18, an initiative to solve the Syrian crisis, to end the suffering of the Syrian people, which included 9 items, which observers described as important and would resolve the Syrian crisis.

This lecture comes within the framework of a series of lectures under the title (Visions Under the Microscope, the Syrian Crisis. Prospects and Ways of Solution) organized by the Rojavayê Kurdistanê Intellectuals Union at its center in the city of Qamishlo.
