Egyptian writers- analysts: AANES’ initiative contributes in solving Syrian crisis

On Tuesday (April 18), the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria AANES launched an initiative to solve the Syrian crisis, in order to reach a peaceful and democratic solution that would end the suffering of millions of the Syrian people.

On this, the Egyptian writer and historian, Ali Abu al-Khair, said: "The initiative launched by the Autonomous Administration to solve the Syrian crisis is one of the most important keys to a peaceful political solution to move the stagnant waters in the Syrian internal politics."

He pointed out to ANAH’s agency that the initiative adopts democratic dialogue without marginalizing any component of the Syrian people, including, of course, the Kurdish people and other ethnicities, all of which represent the name of the "Syrian state."

He added, "Here we find ourselves at a crossroads, including whether the Syrian regime will respond to the initiative, which we doubt," noting that "the regime is seeking, through its current rapprochement with the Turkish state or the Arab countries, to return to the same way of ruling as before 2011, which is inconsistent with the initiative seeking to resolve the Syrian crisis.

According to the Egyptian historian, the initiative in itself is wonderful and solves all Syrian problems. Because it does not deny the rights of any of the components in Syria and does not differentiate between Syrian citizens of different nationalities and religions.

He added, "It is very important, as stated in the statement, that all political forces (parties - women's and youth organizations) - regardless of whether they are large or small - have a say in shaping the future of the country's administration and its shape in Syria. This issue is of great importance in achieving peace and stability." In which.

Abu al-Khair concluded his statements by stressing that the Autonomous Administration initiative is a step and a major leap towards resolving the Syrian crisis, and it can also be adopted as a vision to solve the crises of all countries in the region.

A new Syrian reality

For his part, writer and political analyst Ibrahim Shaaban said: "Syria's return to the Arab League again, and its welcome, should never contradict the inevitability of reaching a political solution inside Syria. The crisis is real and still exists, and Syria and its people have severely suffered of this conflict.”

According to the Egyptian writer, "The initiative put forward by the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria is considered an integrated policy, as it completely moved away from the vocabulary of exclusion, whether for the Syrian regime or for the Syrian forces and currents that actually exist in reality."

Shaaban continued, "The Autonomous Administration, by launching an initiative of 9 items, to solve the Syrian crisis, and calling on the Syrian government and all democratic national forces to respond to it, is the greatest evidence of the administration's seriousness in the existence of a Syrian-Syrian solution to the crisis and a serious call to restore the matter of the Syrians in their own hands, away from the international and regional powers that exploited the crisis over the course of many years has led to the plundering of the wealth of Syria and its people.

And he stressed that "it is not possible for Syria to return to the Arab League or the momentum in Arab contacts with it again, in light of this deep gulf of differences between the Syrian parties, and without reaching a joint political solution, that does not depend on excluding one component for another account, and without any of the parties feeling it won because Syria has lost so much in more than a decade of chaos.”

Ibrahim Shaaban concluded his speech by pointing out that the initiative of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria is balanced and aims to establish a new reality in Syria, considering at the same time that "the continuation of the arrogant tendency of any party and the illusion that it has won the war, is a big mistake that may drag the country into a disaster and things may flare up again, Unless the Syrian differences are fully and transparently settle.
