Bayik asserts on struggle to achieve leader's physical freedom

Yesterday, the Union of Democratic Forces and the Platform of Kurdistan Institutions in Europe organized a rally in Düsseldorf, Germany, under the slogan "Freedom for leader Ocalan", against the strict isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Thousands of Kurds and their friends participated in this march, where they gathered at the main train station in Düsseldorf in the early morning hours, coming from German cities and many other places in Europe, where they headed to the Rhine Park, chanting slogans during which "Long live the leader Ocalan!" "There is no life without the leader," so that the march turned into a protest stand, in which several speeches were delivered by the co-chairs of the Union of Kurdistan Communities in Germany (KON-MED), Zübeyde Zümrüt and Engin, and the member of the Joint Presidency Council of the Democratic Union Party, Fawza Youssef, and on behalf of the Union of Forces Esra Güler, and co-chair of the Kurdish Democratic Community Conference - Europe (KCDK-E), Yüksel Koç, and Ayten Kaplan, on behalf of the Kurdish Women's Movement in Europe (TJK-E).

The message which sent by KCK's co-chair Jamil Bayik, to the event was heard, in which it stated the following:

"Dear people and respected international friends, I would like to greet you all with love and respect, and I wish you victory. As you know, our friends organized activities on March 8, Newroz and Week of the Heroes, and showed great enthusiasm and morale in these events. Your demonstration today is the continuation and peak of these protests.

Kurdish people reached their identity through leader Ocalan

This gathering for the physical freedom of the leader has historical importance, and it is known that the Kurdish people have reached their identity through the leader Ocalan, struggled with the leader Ocalan, and built themselves as a nation.

The occupation is carrying out a policy of genocide against the Kurdish people, especially through its approach towards Leader Ocalan. This is how they take their revenge on Leader. As you know, a policy is being carried out against our movement and our people. They want to destroy our movement, carry out a genocide against our people and thus achieve their desired results. No matter how much they have tried this, Leader Ocalan, the guerrilla and our people have stood heroically against this policy. They have put up historic resistance and continue to do so. Thus, they have defeated the policy of the genocidal forces.

Fate of Turkey lies in hands of Alliance

This stage that we are going through is very important and decisive. If we want to achieve results in it, everyone must take responsibility according to their capabilities, then we can get great results. The fate of Turkey lies in the hands of the Alliance in the upcoming elections.

I believe that this alliance will play its historic role in these elections for both the Kurdish people and all the Turkish people. All these alliances and democratic forces must bring about the end of the AKP/MHP government, Because we have brought this government to an end with our struggle and resistance. Now the Alliance must complete this in the elections.

Leader Ocalan resisted the occupation, genocide, the Lausanne Agreement and the international conspiracy under very difficult circumstances, and this resistance strengthened the status of the Kurdish people, their friends, Kurdish women, socialists and democrats and put them in the forefront.

Kurdish people do not want to live with Lausanne anymore

" We are now approaching the 100th anniversary of the Lausanne agreement and it is known that the policy of denial continued and continues to commit genocide against our people.

The leader Ocalan, the PKK and the Kurdish people have thwarted the Lausanne agreement with their struggle, and made it meaningless, and the Kurdish people no longer want to live with Lausanne, but rather want to live freely, and it gave a decision to that, and now everyone must accept this decision of our people. The Kurdish people have always struggled in their history against murderers and occupiers, and they fought when they had the opportunity. Murderers and invaders also attacked our people and their struggle. They attacked militant movements and leaders, and some were executed. Some of them were thrown into prisons, and others were exiled. Where most of our people were executed, imprisoned and exiled. Also, Sheikh Saeed, Sayyid Reza, Qazi Muhammad, and Sheikh Abdul Salam Barzani have made an effort and fought for the Kurdish people in history, and how they executed these leaders in history, they wanted to execute the leader Abdullah Ocalan as well, but they could not see this before their eyes ; Because the leader Abdullah Ocalan has become his place in the heart of the Kurdish people and the hearts of millions of people, as they struggle with the policies he developed.

Leader’s philosophy, thoughts and political ideology are accepted and supported not only by the Kurdish people but also internationally. This is the reason why these forces did not execute Leader. Millions of people support him today. People like leader Ocalan are rare both in the history of the Kurdish people and in the history of humanity.

This struggle has been going on for more than 50 years, and it continues without interruption. It has evolved according to the line and model of leader Abdullah Ocalan. Because this model is the model of the democratic nation. It is a model for solving the problems of all peoples, based on the model of a democratic society, the environment, and women's freedom, and the framework for this model is democratic confederation.

Leader Abdullah Ocalan and the Kurdish people have become one, no one can separate them anymore. Our people always say "There is no life without Leader Apo". This also expresses the truth about Apo and the Kurdish people. Apo has been in Imrali prison for 24 years, he lives in total isolation. He hasn't been heard from in two years. We have not heard from him for two years. We do not know what his current condition is. Leader's current situation is a reason to increase our struggle for freedom.

Everyone should know that we will not accept anything but the physical freedom of leader. The Kurdish people and their friends, Kurdish women and Kurdish youth are fighting with all their energies and strength to achieve the physical freedom of Leader Apo, and from now on they will make this struggle bigger.

I would therefore like to appeal to all intellectuals, artists, civil organizations, revolutionaries, democrats, socialist forces and leftists to fulfill their duties and responsibilities with regards to the physical freedom of Rêber Apo. All of them need to make efforts to raise this struggle in the international political, diplomatic and legal arena. The CPT, the Council of Europe, the European Union, organizations working on international law and international human rights organizations need to fulfill their duties and responsibilities.
