​​​​​​​Women of political parties denounce the isolation imposed on leader Abdullah Ocalan

The leader Abdullah Ocalan, who has been detained in Imrali Island prison in the Sea of Marmara since February 15, 1999, has been subjected to strict isolation, and no information has been obtained from the leader and his three companions in prison for more than two years. The strict isolation arouses the ire of the people of North and East Syria, amidst their demands to lift the isolation and reveal his health condition.

A member of the General Council of the Democratic Union Party, Abeer Al-Khalil, condemned the isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and indicated that the fascist Turkish state wants, by tightening the isolation, to separate the leader from the peoples who believe in his ideology.

Abeer Al-Khalil pointed out that Turkey should have revealed the status of leader Abdullah Ocalan by the end of March, but it did not make any statement about that.

He must be the leader among the people

Abeer Al-Khalil noted: "We, the women of North and East Syria, demand the people of the region, and women in particular, to raise the pace of their struggle, in order to lift the isolation from the leader and liberate him physically, because he is an international and humane leader," and stressed: "The leader must be among the people, and live their normal lives."

For her part, a member of the training committee in the office of the Zenobia Women's Gathering, Abeer Al-Nafeh, condemned the isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan, expressing her rejection of this isolation and called on the international forces to take action to find out and disclose the leader's health status.

Sawsan Al-Khalaf, the spokeswoman for the Zenobia Women's Gathering office in Raqqa and its countryside, condemned the position of the Committee Against Torture (CPT), and its claim to have met the leader Abdullah Ocalan, which contradicts what the leader's lawyers confirmed that he refused to meet with the committee. It also condemned the silence of the international powers regarding the violations committed against the leader.

In her turn, the spokeswoman for women in the Green Council of Idlib, Maysoon Muhammad, demanded the removal of isolation from the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and condemned: "the arbitrary imprisonment of the thinker leader Abdullah Ocalan."
