Leader Abdullah Ocalan, who has shown unparalleled resistance for nearly 25 years in the prisons of the fascist Turkish state, paved the way for a free life for women and oppressed peoples.

The leader, Abdullah Ocalan, considered that the liberation of women is more valuable and necessary than the liberation of the homeland, as he indicated in one of his pleadings: "I did not feel all my abhorrence towards an event, as much as I showed it towards the man, the family, the hierarchy, and the state who claim to be the owners and owners of women, so how did it happen and there is nothing left of it?" The offspring of the female deities isn't this dreadful pattern?"

During the struggle of leader Abdullah Ocalan in Syria and Lebanon in the eighties and nineties, he met many people from Rojava.

Hadiya Remo Musa, she met the leader Abdullah Ocalan in 1994 at the Masum Korkmaz Academy in the Lebanese Bekaa region, accompanied by her family. And she talked about the details of the meeting, referring to their stay in the academy for about 8 days and their meeting with the leader Abdullah Ocalan during a meeting he held.

Leader Abdullah Ocalan focused in his speech, in the words of Hadiya Musa, on the capitalist system and the dominant countries in imposing their authority on peoples and oppressing them. He also defined the "one-man" system that seeks to divide and destroy society, and the transition of civilization from democracy in the natural society to the formation of the nation-state.

Hadiya Musa explained that the leader Abdullah Ocalan urged women in that meeting to read books, and focused on the role of the mother in raising generations and promoting everything that would protect the culture of society, and cultivate the characteristics of the revolutionary fighter in the hearts of her daughters and sons.

After a period of time had passed since her return from Lebanon, Hadiya began working on the front lines in Qamishlo, and during her work she was persecuted and arrested by the forces of the "Ba'athist authority"; She confirmed that on one occasion she was imprisoned for 12 days, noting: "In prison, they asked me to give up my cause and my thought, but I answered them that I chose death over giving up my cause and my thought."

For her part, Noura Kilo drew attention to the situation of women prior to the spread of the philosophy of leader Abdullah Ocalan, and said: "Women did not know their rights in the past and accepted outdated customs and traditions, and the authoritarian mentality that restricted women's freedom."

Noura Kilo indicated: "With the spread of the ideas of Leader Ocalan and his adoption of the women's cause, women saw the light and became aware of their rights and duties."

Regarding the gains and achievements that women have achieved, Noura Kilo attributed the credit to the leader, Abdullah Ocalan, and his adoption of the women's cause, until, thanks to him, she became a vanguard for her society and for women.
