Protests to stage in Southern Kurdistan, denouncing Turkish attacks

In the context of angry responses to the Turkish occupation's bombing of Sulaymaniyah airport, a group of activists and political figures called on the people of three cities, namely "Darbandikhan, Klar and Rania" in Sulaymaniyah to demonstrate against the Turkish occupation state's attacks on southern Kurdistan, according to Roj News Agency.

Demonstrations in the Klar district begin at 4 o'clock in the afternoon at Shaheen Garage, and in Rania in front of the public park at four o'clock, and in the Darbandikhan district at the Art Café at four o'clock.

Yesterday a major demonstration took place from Salem Street in the city center of Sulaymaniyah to condemn the attacks of the occupying Turkish state on southern Kurdistan.

During the demonstration, the people called for "stopping trade with Turkey, boycotting its goods, summoning the Turkish ambassador in Baghdad and Hewler, and warning him from the government of Iraq and the region."

The people in the demonstration also called on "the United Nations, friends of the Kurdish people and freedom fighters in the world not to allow the countries of the region to commit crimes against civilians." On Friday evening, Sulaymaniyah International Airport was bombed by the Turkish occupation.However, no casualties or injuries were reported.

Worth to note that the Kurdistan Democratic Party obstructs any gathering, protest stand, or making a statement against the Turkish state in the cities under its control.

Furthermore, a security force affiliated with the party surrounded the Kurdistan National Congress building yesterday to prevent making a statement about the Turkish attacks.
