​​​​​​​Kongra Star: Turkish occupation targets solidarity, unity among the Kurds

The Kongra Star Council issued a statement strongly condemning the Turkish occupation state's attack on Sulaymaniyah airport in Başûr Kurdistan.

In its statement, the Council indicated that the Turkish occupation state always launches brutal attacks on Kurdistan and continues to implement the policy of extermination against people, nature, villages, cities, and institutions.

The Council made it clear that the Turkish occupation state, behind this attack, sought to target the solidarity and unity that had been achieved between the Democratic Autonomous Administration and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (YNK). Because it does not bear these gains and does not accept them.

In its statement, the Council appealed to the UN Security Council to carry out its responsibilities towards such attacks and to hold the Turkish occupation state accountable.

The Council strongly condemned the attack on Sulaymaniyah airport and called on the Security Council and the concerned organizations to carry out their responsibilities and duties.

The council also appealed to the people of Başûr and Rojava not to be drawn into the plans of the Turkish occupation. Solidarity, unity, and raising the level of struggle to end the occupation of Kurdistan and achieve its freedom.
