AANES: Moscow Quartet meeting arouses suspicious

The Deputy co-presidency of the General Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria explained that the Autonomous Administration looks with suspicion at the quadripartite meeting, and stressed any political solution should be through constructive dialogue between the Syrian parties.

The last period has witnessed a diplomatic and political movement between the Damascus government and some Arab countries, in addition to the holding of the quadripartite meeting on the 4th of April at the level of deputy foreign ministers of Russia, Iran, the Turkish occupation and the Damascus government, in the context of policy of normalization between the Turkish occupation state and the Damascus government, which ended with a statement General about the need for continued communication.

The Deputy of the co-presidency of the General Council in the Autonomous Administration, Yasser Al-Suleiman, indicated: "With regard to the Arab rapprochement with the Damascus government, it comes within the context of developments taking place in the region on the local, regional and international arenas."

Al-Suleiman made the point clear that, "The agendas of the Arab countries differ from one country to another, some of them fear any settlement of the Syrian issue, as any political success achieved by the Syrians will threaten their interests."

"Quadripartite meeting won't produce any results in favor of Syrians or end the Syrian tragedy, because it perpetuates the Turkish occupation of the Syrian territories, whereas the Syrian regime is not in a position to defend these territories." al-Suleiman added.

Al-Suleiman noted that "the Syrian people have been displaced due to the conspiracy of the Syrian regime and the Turkish state, so there are no positive results from these meetings because the regime is in a position of weakness, and the Russian guarantor seeks to achieve its investment interests, while Iran has a policy of expansion in the Arab countries."

Concerning the Autonomous Administration's position on the quartet meeting, Yasser Al-Sulaiman stressed: "The Autonomous Administration looks with suspicion at the Turkish-Syrian rapprochement, and quadripartite meeting."

Yasser Al-Suleiman pointed out that the Autonomous Administration should be informed of all the agreements and rapprochements that are taking place, because the Autonomous Administration is an integral part of Syria and is concerned about the country's fate and territorial integrity, no solution to the crisis unless all parties sit at a dialogue table to holding accountable the criminal figures who shed Syrian blood.
